So I went in for an interview with an agency in Silver Spring that I met through Craigslist. I'm not going to give the full address, but they work out of a location near Old Columbia Pike( I hope this sounds familiar to a few.) Anyways, I go in for an interview and I realized that the guy I was speaking with was not the guy I was emailing. It was his assistant(We're gonna call him "Mike") and Mike was the only one in the room. What raised an eyebrow for me was that he wanted to drape his coat over my head while he led me to the room. He said he didn't want me to actually see the location because of theft and security reasons. That scared the hell out of me! I backed out and to reassure me, he showed me nude/sexy pics of other girls who worked with them. And they were all in the same location. My concern is that this isn't really some undercover cops operating a sting or some thugs settings young girls up. Does this place sound familiar to anyone? Does anyone go to the Silver Spring area? Could this be an undercover cop? I never went to the room. I told him I'd come back tomorrow. The position sound good, but some things just threw me off.

I agree with wrps07. That sounds extremely shady. Either they're LE, trying to harm you, or doing something else they have no business doing. You have to be very careful with both craigslist and BP. If it sounded too good to be true, it probably was.

There is NO reason, NONE, for them to want to cover your head.  If they can't find a secure neutral location that's their problem.  If it's feasible, this is something that LE might appreciate hearing about anonymously.  I seriously doubt it's an undercover cop; in fact, I suspect that they really don't want the cops to know about them.

It's this type of shit that gives the hobby a bad name.

There is a bunch of pimps and models fronting as escort agencies. They will rob you, kidnap you, and a ton of other things that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. D.C has great opportunities, but the amount of men that prey on working girls as their source of income is astounding. And scary. ALWAYS TRUST YOUR GUT.
