Balto in all likelihood, the agency phones were actually that busy. Just seems typical. Problem is, they should pay more attention to the caller ID's so they can give priority to the guys who are enroute to or awaiting appointments. It seems that most agencies somehow manage to do this, but apparently you either encountered something otherwise, or a very busy phone period.
I had set up an appointment with a well know provider and had given her references. SHe confirmed the appointment (3 hours). THen bingo she does not show up.
Not wanting to take the cash back, I go down my shopping list and bingo I reach a provider who is available.
I have seen 9 different providers without any problems with no shows. I guess it goes with the terroritory.
We are very lucky to be in the DC area with so many highy quality providers. I have yet to see a visiting provider because there are so many locals available.
