I agree that bogus repeat reviews should be deleted and can be if you request it by contacting Staff at TER. But where it comes to yours or mine if we were able to do so this would be to show some change or new information and our previous ones should not be deleted - in my opinion. Early on I had posted more then one for a provider and they were accepted and maintained but when I did this for Jewel it would not accept my new one and deleted my previous one - never understood that.
How come some reviewers have 2 or even 3 reviews of the same provider when if I submit a 2nd review the 1st is deleted? Sometimes a 2nd or 3rd review is revealing of what repeated visits will yield. While the 1st review is still valid in showing what a 1st encounter is like. I'm not asking for additional VIP credit just allowance for further exploration of the providers services.
I wouldn't go as far to have someone elses repeated reviews deleted for the same reason you noted that it might show trends or changes from repeat visits.
But, this board is unable to address your point as well as writing to the TER staff as a suggestion or comment for improvement.
I would love to write additional reviews and feel each should remain available to those doing research. Most repeats have yielded better results but some (very few) have either made no difference or were actually worse. This information should be brought into the provider’s reviews so others can see the up or down trend for repeat visits. Of course, you could always note it in the review, but that would be as easy to see that some like to repeat.
I also agree there would be no need for us to credit our VIP status with additional time. But, here it will probably go un-noticed by TER staff that could or would make the changes.
