...of a restaurant?  I had a date/friend take me to Rasika West last evening, and it was wonderful!  A restaurant I would have never chosen.

My friend and I returned to Oyamel in Penn Quarter.  Every meal is a new experience.  The restaurant is a piece of art.  Some replicas of Kahlo was found and mobiles that Calder would certain to be impressed.  The Tacos and the Ceviche are melt in the mouth and to die for.  There Pinot Noir by the glass goes perfectly with the spiciness to the meal.  I always get my guacamole very spicy. Then we indulged in, what seems, like a monthly visit to Hirshhorn.  I enjoy most of the pieces in the Hirshorn with a glass of wine in the system.

And going again! Check out the menu, it's all good!

It's called Little Serow, and it's on 17th in Dupont.  There is no sign over the door, and they don't advertise.  I had a dinner date take me there last night and it was AMAZING - people just start lining up outside the unmarked door at 5pm, and then at about 5:25, they take in the first 20 or so people.  There is only one menu, and they just continuously bring you course after course of spicy thai food, and drinks to compliment.  It's cozy, and I am DEFINITELY going there again.

What a treasure!!

Little Serow is no secret.  It's by far the best Thai restaurant in the DC metropolitan area, run by the same people who run Komi. If you don't mind waiting in line, this is a great restaurant.  Arrive at 5:00 if you want to be seated by 5:30 or 5:45....

I missed Rest. week in DC and Baltimore this time, but did get to hit it in Raleigh.. Oh the joys of traveling and trying new restaurants and food. So yummy! Thanks for the suggestions.. I will have to try some when in DC... xoxo Thanks again, C
