Such as- what exactly are HER "feelings"? Are they serious feelings? Flity, casual feelings? Friendly feelings? And are his the same? Where we you both located? What's the age difference? Do you have things in common? Are you both available to date? Do you expect strict monogomy? Do you have other obligations? Are you at different points in your life?
It's hard to give advice without any real information, since everyone's circumstances are different.
If I had feelings for a client, whether or not I'd tell him would depend on many things, including how serious those feelins were and whether or not I believe they are requited. I'd also take into consideration if it's going to actually accomplish anything to tell him what I feel- or just complicate the situation. If he's happily married, chances are good that I'd just keep my mouth shut and start seeing other people.
It all depends!
Do you ask because you think you're on the receiving end of this with a provider?
I tend to agree with GABRIELLA. Relationships of this nature can be disastrous. Not to take anything away form the providers who do have successful relationships with their former clients, but I have seen very far few in between. To answer your question, no. I wouldn’t tell a client. I understand that there are unspoken boundaries that should never be crossed. I respect those bounders. Do I care for my guys? Of cores! I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the most professional, nicest, sweetest men in the area. I have a deep fondness for quite a few guys, but that’s as far as it goes.
I asked because a couple of yrs. ago. I met a provider and we click but i did not want to get involved because i felt it would create a lot of problems. She was single and so was I. But that's life!
I wouldnt do anything about it, because I also feel it wouldnt end well. But true, it does depend on many things, if it were to work, but me personally ...I would do nothing..I would slowly get away and move on. I have known one provider who left her husband for a client and that was 6 years ago, and they are still happily together. So ya never know..to each their own..and masy it end well..xoxo
