To start with, the picture must be already hosted on the web somewhere.

There are many ways to have pictures hosted, but the most popular are:
A.  It is somewhere like imagecoast.com or photobucket.com, check the photo and you will see near it something to click or a field that says "direct URL" or something of the like.  If there is one, highlight the entire thing and copy it (press ctrl-C). and then proceed to Step 3

B.  It is hosted on your website.  To get it linked to your website, the easiest way is to find the picture (in the size you want), the right click on the picture.  In the drop-down menu, choose "Copy image URL" if using Google Chrome (and then go to the next step), or in Internet Explorer, click on "Properties" in the drop down menu that pops up, and in the center of the window that opens, you will see "Address: (URL)"  Highlight  and copy everything to the right of that (using Ctrl-C).

Step 3 -

Open the TER window, start a message, then go down to the bottom, and double click in the field labeled, "picture URL".  This wil highlight everything in the field (at this point, just "http://").  Now, press ctrl-V to paste the address (URL) that you have copied above into that field.

I have done that using method B for you, here in this post.

Posting Pix 101: (see below)

1. Set up a free account with Image Coast @
www.imagecoast.com
2. After you have your free account, click log in & click @  top of page “Upload”
3. Pick out the pic you want to upload from the files you keep your pix file on computer & highlight to upload to Image Coast.
4. After it is uploaded, click up top “ My Images”
5. Highlight the URL box w/the http://etc. in it to copy & paste to TER link box.
6. Go to TER to click ‘Post Reply” or “Post Message”
7. Go to bottom picture URL box, & back space the http:// out of it.
8. Paste the pic you highlighted from Image Coast account (see step 5)
9. Click “Post Message”  and there you have it.
