I have found that it is better to have more than one ATF. I stupidly started seeing one girl and waiting till she came to town. Then she dropped off the face of the earth. I just found out from some very nice people that she had a big drug problem, and disappeared because she owned some people alot of money. It is great when you can build a repore(sp?) with someone, but don't limit yourself either.
Hobbyists will spend months sometimes years looking for a few ATFs they can have regular repeat visits with. Many times providers will try to find out a guys motive for seeing them. Reference to see another provider. Seeing the provider because they want to write another review. The possiblities are endless.
Starting in the hobby or returning it can be like a kid in a toy store. You want to play with everything. Once a hobbyists settles down he will go back to ones he likes the best to be ATFs. Of course the provider is curious why are you back.
A question for both providers and hobbyists what things do you expect/look for someone to be regular/ATF status ?
To me a regular is someone you can depend on to show up or call if he cant make it, someone who you know how much fun your gonna have or how many O's you can expect to get lol

Anyone I've seen more then 2 times I consider an ATF. For it to go beyond 3 it’s really special. But those who I’ve seen 3 or more time become close and dear friends. In my life, the closer I get to a provider, the more familiar we become with each other and at some point that takes a turn much like relationships with civies or your SO for that matter. I will still see them once in a while, but the flame has either gone out, or it's the same ole thing...
The Top ATF I've seen at least 4 to 6 times (lost count after 3). The only problem there is she has either grown tired of me, or I'm not that special and have to wait in line. She let me know if she doesn't answer phone or call back in an hour, I should move on and try another day.
I was with someone today (not telling who so don't ask) that could be my new ATF. I had talked to her many times before we actually made our schedules work. I had that special feeling from our conversations that we would be great friends, if not lovers. After seeing her today, I know I could see her many more times and each time would be special and different.
But lets be real, this hobby isn't about being monogamous - at least it isn't for me. Now what would be real kewl is finding an ATF who enjoys mixing it up with extra partners - might see one with many - OK, now I'm asking for too much...
Your points about "familiarity breeds contempt" I find very interesting. Very true, too. That's why so many married guys are in here. Damn right the same thing can happen with ATF's. Ya' work so hard to find 'em, and then that basic fact of life takes 'em away (or has a guy send them away). Guess that's why a lot of "marrieds" doesn't want to bother with ATF's. Having one malcontent is enough.
Hmm, I didn't intend it to be taken that way. Familiarity isn't a bad thing, and I certainly didn't think contempt. And as for my SO, I have no malcontent.
While everyone has there own reason to hobby and you are probably correct for others - just not me...
... since I have been following you around, it seems, to the NYC folks, to fall for Missy, etc. I can only assume that you just saw someone at TGND and were smitten, because that is what happened to me.
...for me, the main thing is HONESTY. That seems to be in VERY short supply these days. And for a woman to be effectively honest, she has to know what SHE wants and is all about. Among other things, that means NO drugs or substance abuse. Like you said, it may take a while to discover drug use. Many people on drugs can be quite good at concealing the fact. After all, they HAVE to in order to make a living (unless they are REAL criminals).
