I am a new girl - I am looking to travel to washington at the end of june , any suggestions as to where to stay, and is it busy at that time of year.

As a matter of personal convenience for me, consider some place near Capitol Hill or MCI center.  Let me know when you finalize your plans/schedule.  Georgetown is a very fun part of town and many gents from NVA and MD can get the opportunity to conveniently see you at that venue.

At those rates I suggest you stay at the Ritz Cartlon. But too steep for my wallet.
