In this situation I would give her a chance to explain because things happen.  If she choose not to return your call or e-mail then I would not see any problem with posting the facts.  No need to express anger in the post just the facts.  People can draw there own conclusions.  It may help out a fellow hobbyist.

A fairly newbie type question - when you show up for an appointment, on time, and the lady in question fails to answer her cell, return you call, respond to your voicemails - how would you report this?

As a ripoff?  No money changed hands

As a bad review?  Never got to see the lady.

I am currently giving the lady in question a chance & time to respond to my voice or email, but was just curious as to how to go about alerting the community of this behavior.

Thanks

Her name would not start with an "M" would it? I had a similar experience yesterday. Very disappointing.

Yes - like Jeop said - you did - but without giving up the name.

It's not something I've experienced, but as this subject of no show no call has come up from a providers point of view, how would most guys handle this? As you mentioned, you are giving the lady a chance to reply and provide an explanation (not that it helps - but it is respectful at least). If it was me, and I was stood up, and after repeated attempts to contact her returned no results, I would probably be even more pissed off. I doubt I would write a negative review, but I might post a 911 to this board asking if others have heard from her.

This might help know if something bad happened to her and possibly give her a chance to reply. If from that post others state they had seen her after your no show date I might mention how I got stood up but trying not to be too rude at least express my disappointment.

Don't know really - and hope I don't ever. But I would like to know if others have been stood up and what they think is the right thing to do.
