Went better then I expected. There were several new faces, and even a few providers came. So, I guess it could be considered a meet and greet - to me, it's just another excuse to have a drink and shoot the breeze.

...the best kind of get-together.

That was very non-selfdeprecating.
What am I going to do with you? I feel the leather strap in my hand for you (to give to me of course).

Damn. Of course, I come back after a couple of weeks away just right AFTER a meet and greet just up the street from me.

Bummer.

I'll keep it short so as not to offend anyone lol... I had wonderful time.  It's good to meet people in person.  Typing 10 paragraphs on here is sometimes useless because you really can't feel where a person is coming from.  Just meeting for a few moments and seeing others for who they really are (yes there are actually some feelings behind these screen names) is just the icing on the cake to me!

...what with getting busted by the SO twice in one week for hobby-related activities...and (apparently) surviving. How cool is that?!

I'm sorry we didn't work out this problem better. As it was, I stood watch for those who came in and wandered around looking for a party up to almost an hour. Then we set out a piece of paper with the letter "T" on the short wall dividing the right hand side front and back, we were in the back far corner on the right of the bar.

Next time we need to think of a better system to identify our party from the rest of the public...

I hope you forgive us all for this mistake.
