I'm fairly new to this, so I'm still learning from all of you. I've been reading the "Board" and "New Reviews" to come up to speed. Both are very helpful.
I do have a question about Elle and her reviews. She stands out, both because of her market rates and her consistently high 10/10 reviews. As I've read them, each seems to have been written as a porn novellette using the talent of an English Lit grad. Most of the reviewers' names are names I haven't otherwise seen here. Are these legit?
If I'm out of line here, just tell me, and I'll keep my questions to myself and continue to rely on your more seasoned pros to learn the ropes.
I'm not saying anything about this provider because I haven't seen her. But my personal policy is that when I see 10/10 reviews from guys who've never posted before, I pretty much ignore them.

I read her reviews this morning since a new one was posted and I noticed the same things.. Each review was just a truely lovely little story.. Quoting Voltare? and whoever.. I must admit it seemed a little odd.
And gee, for $2000 for an hour, she damn well better be the best fuck in history..! Screw all the romantic bs, and the reviews didn't seem to have any problem coughing up even more for multi hour things..
There are many, MANY.. wonderful, beautiful, exotic, sexy, sensual, incredible, romantic, challenging, smart, funny and many other ways to describe the women here.. And personally, I can't imagine some of them being any less intelligent or sexy as Elle might be and they don't charge anything close to that rate..
I guess if you're The Donald, go for Elle.. Leave the rest of the women for the common man..!

Somethin tells me, however, that he's too good a businessman to overpay for a quality commodity available at prices much less expensively. Marketing 101 defines Elle's approach as "snob appeal" marketing. If she's successful with it, great! If the purpose of this Board is to make us all more informed shoppers; buyer beware!

While she may well be legit and perfectly fine, her rates are hard to believe. I'm familiar with one of her reviewers, fhfhfhfhfh5, and although his tastes aren't exactly mine, I'd put more credence in his review than some of the other, more "literary" ones.
If you are looking for suggestions, try Syd's Secrets. Hate to sound like a broken record, but they are the best overall, IMHO. See my reviews. Good luck!

PastPrime - Welcome to the board. Don't worry about being out of line, the research you did before asking the question showed you are more in line than most posters.
I think Elle has priced herself very high, does few appointments and tries to give a special experience. The one time posters might really worry me, but there are enough multiple posters to make me comfortable that she provides a good time. Still, all the one time posters rating her a 10 10 does raise eyebrows, are they all real or is it guys trying to justify a huge investment saying it was a one time experience? That said, several of the multiple posters rated her below the 10 10 level, I would have a tendency to follow their reviews.
Might be a great time, but a great time can be had in DC for a lot less. Like NoVA, I have had some absolutley great time with ladies from Syds and others for a small fraction of her listed cost.
I only posted one review but have seen her more than that. I don't think the numbers are out of line, though I do get the same suspicions when a gentleman only has one review. I am very tough (I think) when it comes to appearance scores. In my opinon the only 10s would be actual models, young porn starlets and b-movie actresses that do this on the side. I can see though how many many many guys would put her in the 10 category because she is gorgeous. I think it's just a reflection of their personal experience and where they've been. I have travelled all over Europe and I've even dated a couple models waaaaay back when. So my point of reference is different. As for the performance ratings the only reason I gave her a nine was because I had no first hand knowledge (at that time) that greek was available. I have since found out that for regulars it can be more of a YMMV thing. Which is kind of like our real life ain't it?? Anyway so could those reviews be legit - sure. Can she be called a 10/10 - yes I think so. Am I suspicious after reading the types of reviews she has gotten recently - maybe - I would be no matter who I read them about because the tones strike me as odd sometimes. But maybe she's only seeing clients who submit a writing sample beforehand. Does it worry me - not at all. Would it stop me from calling next time I visit - nope.
One other little clue I picked up on because unlike some of the guys trying to figure all this out, I have actually seen her. Her "cover" changes. This is not a criticism. It is something I have observed in several ladies. Some have one story and they ALWAYS stick to it when they discuss their lives or day-jobs or whatever. But some tell a different tale every week. Every time I talk to Elle (person or email) she is talking about a different political cause, and one guy mentionedd she works for the govt. She's in the city of politicians so a good cover would be to have a day job in a political field. She's bright so she can surely talk about any subject. The only thing that stumbles her (maybe) is her job changes. I don't find committed people changing political battles in real life as often as she does. I live in a political town and most of the people stay with their passion for awhile; working for the good of the cause. They don't jump around. A couple reviews talk about her leaving town!! The point being - if Elle was making a concerted effort to post bogus reviews wouldn't the stories of all the reviews have some commonality. My guess, she's a special assistant to Pres. Clinton and she only works when he's out of town.

Past Prime, I take issue with your accusation of "snob marketing". As I state on my website, my prices are nothing but supply and demand. I only have time to do two appointments a month, and I calibrate my price so I get about six requests for appointments a month. My price may even go down in the future, if I'm not getting approximately six requests for appointments a month.
I realize that the large majority of TER doesn't want to discuss Voltaire with a provider, and aren't going to be interested in me, but that doesn't mean that I don't actually exist, and that I'm not who I say I am. About six men a month are interested in me. On the whole, they are amazing men--nice, smart and sexy, and would never call me "a quality commodity", as you so eloquently refered to me. Needless to say, we won't be seeing each other any time soon, but I wish you the best of luck in your saavy bargin basement hunting!

3rd Doing my homework as well, and looking up the local hobyists past reviews and comments on this board and TER.. Interesting information has come up.
4th Every reviewer that has seen her, and seen another local provider, and has given reviews on TER.. Giving 2 Prime examples . 2 people that have posted in this thread and seen Elle, both gave other providers higher marks. One is Robin and the other is Petit Nicole.. both of these providers charge One thousand seven hundred dollers less than elle. These are facts..

Does Elle exist? I’m almost certain that she cannot. That isn’t to say that she doesn’t, but our entire lives we have been conditioned to think that a woman like her is incapable of existence.

I’m one of those who has posted only one review, a 10/10 for Elle. Elle got me into this hobby. I’d lurked on TER for about a year, and nobody else was worth cheating on my wife for. Until I saw Elle’s pictures. I saw a traveling escort to warm myself up a few days before, and then I spent three hours with Elle.
She does exist, and once you meet her, she’s never far from your thoughts. I couldn’t afford a repeat visit, though I’ve seen about 15 other escorts since. About six months ago and six months after our encounter, I sent her an e-mail to see how she was doing, and we’ve become friends outside the “hobby” and haven’t had a sexual relationship since.
What makes Elle different is that she is strong, smart and independent, though in the bedroom she is like play-dough, absolute putty in your hands. Notwithstanding your affront at my choice of words, may I offer that both from an economics and marketing sense, the terms "quality commodity" and "snob appeal" marketing are literal and quite accurate. I trust that most any business school grad will readily agree. There is nothing inherently offensive about either: they are what they are. The hobbyist and the provider are each engaged in a classic business transaction: an exchange of money for a product, service, or for time. The pricing is determined, indeed, on the basis of equivalent supply and demand. That may sound cold, but it is nonetheless true and not meant to offend.
Of course, as someone who has always tried to be a gentleman, I would never speak directly to you or any other provider in such terms. It seems also that do I recall hearing others refer to me previously in terms such as "nice" and "smart" - I don't know about "sexy". Actually this is one of the reasons I've had difficulty writing a provider review: describing for the benefit of others the details of an intimate session with a lovely woman is a little difficult for me. That old fashioned attitude is a good reason why I'm "PastPrime". My own reluctance to do so and the offense I've caused you with this discussion thread may be a good reason why this should possibly be the last discussion threat I post on this board (even though it's only my fourth).
Don't be too sure that we've not met before. Elle, you are far too lovely, far too savvy, and far too gracious to suggest that my comments or questions reflect that I may be a cad or that I'm engaged in "bargain basement hunting" - the latter inference constitutes an insult to some of your lovely area colleagues.

I'm sure many find it interesting that she has such high rates and a limited service. And you pointing out what you have is acceptable. That's why these boards exist. I'm not sure if she's real or not. I'll never know. I have set limits on how much I will spend per hour and she excedes my price limit. Even if I didn't stick to my price limit I still wouldn't see her based on CBJ. That's too much money for CBJ. Others may disagree and it's their right to do so. If she stays busy at that price and limited service, more power to her. I'm just not going to be a contributor to the recent trend of raised prices and limited service. I don't care how good she looks or how great her personality is.
I've written a couple of reviews for her here, mainly because it was the reviews done by other clients of hers that inspired me to spring for the experience. I don't regret a dime of that expense. And while I'm more of a lurker than a poster, I thought it would be fun to write something about her here, and also show folks that she is indeed everything her other reviewers say she is. Also, very discreet, for those of us with more prominent jobs.
I hope it was one of my reviews that makes PastPrime think of porn novelettes -- if so, I take it as a compliment.
Anyway, she's something special. And you don't have to take my word for it -- ask any of us who've seen her.
This is one of those areas where a provider has decided to price herself toward exclusivity.
If you think about it, yeah she is really not offering herself at a point where she is not going to get a lot of business. That should tell you that she is not dependent on the hobby for her living and tat she does not see a lot of clients- both attractive and appealing variables to the discerning hobbyist.
It’s a little unfair to compare her to other providers based on price. Providers price themselves at certain price points to attract business and a certain clientele. I know some hobbyist that will not see any provider that are less than $$$ because they think that at that price point the providers are not apt to overbook or that they will be the fifth hobbyist that the provider has seen that day. Some guy will pay for exclusivity.
I’ve met her couple of years ago for a photo shoot before she started in earnest as an indy. I can tell you that she is very beautiful, highly educated and sharp as a tack with a convincing ability to be whomever she needs to be to make you think that you are the most important person to her at that time. After all, isn’t a hobbyist paying for the illusion? It did not surprise me that she is tapping into an area that a lot of other provider have overlooked or can’t afford to or unable to charge. She is legit and if I had the money I would spend it on her for the date and not the session. I found her to be that engaging.
Is she worth it? I will ask this question. If you had the choice to have a steak prepared for you by the sous chef at Morton’s or personally by Bobby Flay at a premium price which would you choose. Most would be quite happy with the Morton’s steak and it would very good. Some, if they can afford it, may opt for Flay. Why? Why not. At this point you aren’t paying for the steak you are paying for the experience.

About the dollars. Take N_____a, who used to work for Guliana. Say 5 guys a day 6 days a week, 50 weeks is $450,000 spent (which I suspect is low) compared to 2 * 6K * 12 is 144K. And as to time spent with Elle versus N, well I stand by what I said.

Marketing 101 tells you that if they're buying it, you're probably not charging ENOUGH. So, blame "snobs" like us for the demand, but not her for the supply.

And if you read the comments from all of them, they're all fairly long, and the language and grammar is eerily similar.. Elle and the others appear for the first time in my memory in the forums only to defend herself or for the guys defense of her.
My guess is one person with multiple id's wrote all that stuff.. Look at the sentence construction, words used, and as one wrote and others loved, the vituperative? comment?
And sure, she could exist, and all this is just a wasted exercise.. But if you look at the whole picture, it's just really odd...

JB, I agree with ALL of your comments (dubious one-time reviewers, the whole Voltaire bullshit, even the price/value assessments), but you're "off the reservation" with the "fake postings with multple ids" theory. Sounds like a Warren Commission conclusion. All I can tell you is that if you had seen her, you would also type a few lines in her defense. And there aren't that many women that would spur that reaction. Believe me...or not.

Just for your sake, if I could lie, I would rate her a 1/1 so that no one else would schedule with her.

hey.. who knows.. maybe every word of what's been written in her reviews is absolutely true.. it really doesn't matter since only a few guys will ever be blessed with seeing her. But it just seems so odd that someone can command $x20 for 1 hour, and get it. And yes, there are differences between a Ford and a Mazerati, but ultimately, pussy's still pussy. Well JB I haven't seen Elle, can't say I won't but as yet I haven't. But, the last time I played this game one of my ATF cost $1000 to get to spend time with her. I saw her about a dozen times. Was she worth it? At the time I thought so. Was she well educated, damn straight... three degrees...BS, MS, MBA. Did we discuss Voltaire, never...LOL. Was she exceptional, damn straight.
Now, I agree that p---y is p---y, and no p---y is worth $1000. I can close my eyes and make out with anyone I want. I like to keep my eyes open occationally though. If p---y is all you want, you can get that very cheaply. Sometime just for dinner or a drink. An exceptional experience may cost you more, sometimes much more. Some here are here just for the p---y, others seek other things as well. To some $$$ is not the same problem as most of us...
I think there are enough reviews of Elle by guys that have multiple reviews, and post here on occaision, that I believe she exists and believe she does a very good job.
What she charges is her business. If we don't like it fine, we don't have to visit her. There is no reason to attack her for her pricing. PastPrime raised a good point that it is all about demand and supply, she elected to put herself way out on the curve. At that point the demand is relatively low, purely her choice. I had my own service business. After many years of struggling, had more work that I could handle. Finally raised prices, work kept coming in at the same pace. This kept happening until I finally got things balanced. I did a crappy job of managing supply and demand. She is happy with her balance, who are we to criticize it or make judgements about whether she is worth it? She is not criticizing me or the type of ladies I visit, no reason to criticize her. Elle - life is short, you are free to do (or charge) whatever the hell you want (not that you need my advice).

I commend all those who participated in this thread voicing their opinions and beliefs. For me, it has been very entertaining. Elle, keep on with your philosophy, it is commendable and satisfies those who you see. For the rest, it is “to each his own”, and that is something others cannot deny you. Please do not stop speaking out on topics such as these, but give respect to others as you would expect of yourself.

I met Elle and wanted to look at the DC board to see what was written, because my experience was so different than most of the other reviewers. I agree that the lady should charge whatever she can and a hobbiest can decide to buy or not. My problem is that I cannot believe that anyone really rated her a 10 in appearance. I realize that this is a subjective area, but I am confident that the vast majority of men would not rate her anywhere near a 10. That is what makes the discussion of whether there are fake posters or not so interesting. She is very bright. Yes she could have pulled it off.
