Well, I need to defend my comments.. I've met some, but mostly have been screwed, and not in the good way.  While it's certainly an across the board statement, MOST of the girls who work the Block are not going to be your high class ladies you're likely to encounter on TER.  

I'd met one lady who swore she wanted to meet me privately, and on 3 different occaisions, she swore she'd call me, and of course, she never did.  One lady offered all these lofty plans for me, but as soon as she'd pocketed my cash, she changed her tune, did absolutely nothing, and the manager refused to do anything, and I probably got close to being kicked out or arrested.  The managers are all in collusion with the girls, and if they rip you off, it's tough shit for you.  

In fact, a friend who works in a club who I've known for years (male bartender) has said that in many cases, the girls KNOWINGLY go into encounters with the goal to rip off a customer/sucker and have no intention of providing ANY SERVICE AT ALL, and they have to give kickbacks to the managers to defend them as there are certainly going to be the potential for physical fights taking place.  When you get ripped off for $200-300 or more, you're likely to want your cash back from the theft/scam/con they pulled off.. Most of us won't call the cops, although I really should have dialed 911 after I got ripped that one time, but I was a big wuss and didn't.  My bet is they'd have given my cash back if they knew the cops were coming.

There are certainly gems there, but the odds are slim and the chances of being ripped off are pretty high.  There's no way to check in advance on a particular lady as the odds are she's been there a week and won't be there the next, as they generally come and go pretty quickly.  My experience goes back to when The Block was 3-4 blocks long, and you could get almost anything you wanted, although I'd guess that included any variety of STDs..

In the land of $250 an hour encounters, the Block is not the place to find anything more than a teasing lapdance, and even if you're lucky enough to get laid, it'll be rushed, on a naugahide covered piece of foam rubber in a hot cramped room in the back of a club.  If you get 30 minutes before they start knocking, you're lucky, and the odds of finding any vague resemblance to a GFE is almost impossible.  MAYBE if you are able to meet them outside the club, you'll have better success, but inside a club is going to be a less than stellar experience..
