The ACC tournament is at the MCI Center next week. So traffic will even worst in D.C than usual...After Wed, I would use the metro for any fun. With that being said; I expect my two favorite teams to be in the ACC finals on Sunday(Georgia Tech vs Maryland).

I will be back on Friday from Vegas, just in time for ACC finals on Sunday. I will have a kitchen pass, so I will be trolling next Sunday.

Although I am hoping Maryland makes it to the final game, North Carolina will be the ACC champs....

However, you are right about traffic situation in downtown Washington.  Lord knows it's bad enough without events like this; but the tournament congestion will put it over-the-top!

How long does the tournament last?  I don't follow college hoops.  I do know Maryland is having a tough time this year.  Sorry for the loss against V. Tech yesterday.

Personally, I hope Maryland falls flat on their face and washes out in the first round.  It's not the team so much as their coach - I loathe and have no respect for Gary Williams.

It looks like that might happen. They play Clemson (the bottom team of the ACC), who crush Maryland both times they played them.

But I have to disagree with you on Gary. He is the man.

I want to see either Maryland or NC state take the ACC title.

Duke and NC just played one helluva final regular season game.  I'm not sure how the seedings will go but these two could easily meet again in the ACC final.  My (not so) dark horse is Wake.
