I will be visiting the first time and dont know much about the area. I am looking for a good hair salon along with a nail salon. I know there will be many in the area but I am picky on who touches my hair. I rather get my hair done in DC fresh than in NYC when I still have to get on flight. It just wont be the same as having it freshly done
I am looking in the downtown area.

Thank you so much Alexandra! I looked over Red Door service menu and love it! I will be calling tomorrow to set my hair appt up. Will look into RDS tomorrow but sure it will be fine as your hair suggestions seems to be very much on point for me
