Really???? Data fields??????

A few days ago someone asked why more folks don't write reviews and that got me thinking.   Two reasons for me.  First, the data-fields KILL me.  I don't know why, but checking all those blocks and pulling all those drop down menus is just daunting as hell.  It feels like paperwork.  I don't mind writing the actual review.  I usually end up opening another window with the girl's profile on it and clicking back and forth to pull phone, web, email, etc.  And then I get to wondering what it takes to move the needle on the data-points.  If a girl is listed as a shoulder length brunette but cuts and dyes her hair, if I put short blonde will it change on her profile?

The other reason is time.  I can't write at work so there's 12 hours a day, and I can't write for the 8 hours I'm asleep so that leaves only 4 hours per day that I even COULD wright.  Eat dinner, walk the dogs, feed the dogs, check homework, deal with the wife, play with the kids, knock out a honey-do, go to the gym... Christ, some days it seems like I have to make an appointment just to take a crap.

So when I am able to align sun, moon and stars to actually see a provider; trying to work up a review can be a challenge.  I wish it were otherwise and I genuinely thank the guys who are organized and dedicated enough to write reviews - you're all doing the rest of us mopes a great service!  I'd write more but I have to go plunger the john...

There should be an option to say "I agree with the data" or just prepopulate it with what's been posted. You could change anything you thought was wrong. This really is a pain and seems like busy work. And it's very difficult to do on a phone or tablet.

Filling out the data fields and writing the actual review is roughly one hour of work. Make no mistake about that, and you either have the spare time to do it, or you don't.

Come on, it takes 2 minutes to fill out the data fields in a review. Just put in what you remember and don't worry about what someone else put in theirs. It doesn't matter anyway, they are rarely changed. I'm not sure but I think the provider has to request changes. Besides, if ter starts a new review you or one of your fellow hobbyists can submit a trouble report and get a 2 day credit.
So come on Man! Don't make excuses why you cannot do reviews, make opportunities to get them done!
You can cut and paste with one hand and plunge with the other!
Just my .02 and that isn’t worth much!
Be safe.

When you're posting a review, open another window & access her profile on TER.  Then I just go back & forth between the 2 windows for a lot of info.  Not sure how long her hair was? Just take what her profile says.  You can copy & paste phone numbers, web sites, etc, and it makes the whole thing a lot easier.  Couple that with  writing the text for the review in WORD & just doing a copy/paste transfer makes the whole review process a lot easier.  Doing the text in WORD gives you the time to write, spell check & grammar check, go back and edit & only go to post when you're OK with it.  I believe if more posters did this the quality of reviews would be much better, if only for spelling & grammar!

to post a review.  I agree just open another window and copy and paste back and forth.  As far as the general and juicy details, I recommend write them when you have time in advance on your laptop, hobby phone or hobby email account.  Then copy and paste when you are ready to submit the review.  Done!!!

Of course I have heard this same complaint many times over the years, and I have to deal with similar complaints in other aspects of my life.

Seriously, filling out the data fields has to take less time than it the OP spent posting the message on here complaining about filling out the data fields.  If filling out the data fields is what is preventing you from writing reviews, you are merely making excuses for being too lazy to write reviews.

Of course, the issue is a bit more complicated if the girl has never been reviewed before, as was the case wit the last two reviews I wrote.  And chest size, in particular, is not something I have ever found intuitive.  However, I found it was kinda fun to look back at the profiles of girls I have reviewed before and compare the body of the girl I just fucked to girls I have fucked in the last few years.

That said, Jack above has a point.  The mobile web, in general, is cumbersome.  My clumsy fingers are averse to touchscreens.

I've often wondered why TER will not allow us to simply add our comments to an existing review, rather than have to start from scratch, as if the provider has never been reviewed before.  On the provider's review page, there should be a button that says "Add to this review" or something along those lines.  There are many times that I would be happy to click to the provider's review page and add my experience.  Having to fill out the whole form from scratch, when nothing has changed and all I want to do is write a narrative with my experience, is just enough deterrence to keep me from doing it.  I know I should take the time, but, let's face it, many of us struggle to find time to do what we absolutely 'must' do and the time to do what we 'should' do never materializes.

I would urge TER to consider this minor technical change.  The form could give us the option of providing confirming or different information about services/price (all the info on the drop boxes and other fields), but if the info is essentially the same, we should be able to just add the story of our experience.

Thanks for considering.

I've tried writing a review on Windows before, and it just gave me a headache and I gave up. With a Mac however, and preferably an iMac, its way easier.

Why do we need to complete the data fields when it makes absolutely no difference or change to the profile.

Set an option to populate with existing data and change the data points that need to be updated or corrected and have them stick make sense to me.

I don't know why it takes cageyboy an hour to do but I think it's a little more than 2mins for someone with an existing profile and a little longer for creating a new profile (especially if you are too detailed in describing your experience it could take much longer).

I'm sure having to go through the trouble of filling all the data fields some just won't bother. For me I will only write reviews for someone new without a profile, if they have a profile but only a couple of reviews, or if there is a significant change in what others are experiencing.

But after all this I doubt TER will or can implement the suggested changes, it just takes too long hahaha.

I think this is probably to encourage new reviews of new providers.  There are many providers here with 200 reviews, which is a good 190 more than would be useful to someone like me.  Others may feel differently.

Filling out the data field takes me 10 to 15 minutes. Jumping from one website to the other to create the links and ferret out the information doesn't happen instantaneously.

The actual review takes me at least 30 minutes to write. I don't believe in writing one paragraph reviews and try to add as much relevant information at hand as possible. I want the reader to walk away from his monitor with a clear idea of what to expect. Proofreading the review is another 5 to ten minutes of re-reading and correcting errors. Proofreading is an important component of writing, and if it is ignored, well, we have read those types of reviews.

If Slippery adds up the minutes I posted, that's close to one hour.
