I don't mean to be a dick, but after a few seconds of searching here's what I know: You posted two separate threads today asking some not-quite-usual questions, polling the folks here for info despite the fact that it doesn't seem you've ever posted before (at least in the last 5 months), and have no reviews contributed to the community.

You're asking for something before you've given anything. And the fact you come across like an inquisitive newcomer looks suspicious, like you're fishing for info. Of course you'd prefer a clean environment for a massage, but your question seemed like you were looking for a specific description.

A topic we've seen come up time and again is that no one will feel compelled to supply you with information. We contribute and share what we are comfortable with, there's no obligations. I get the feeling that you'd rather have someone answer your question instead of doing the research yourself. There's a search feature to look for massage girls, and with VIP you can read all the details which should include how the room looks. Or start off by adding to conversations before you make your inquiries.

Again, sorry if this is coming across dickish, but this is how it is. This isn't a typical hobby like model trains or baseball cards. You wouldn't go to a marijuana forum and start asking where to buy weed, right?

The facilities are nothing fancy.  Either bed or sofa.  Cleanliness is average.  They try.

If you are looking for a really good massage go get a recommendation for a real massage therapist--a lot cheaper and better.

I've bee to both places.  Hands down, ST is better for a host of reasons.  

Niether group has a massage table nor qualified CMT type therapist.  ST has a bed.  BG has a couch (first strike).  

So if you're looking for a real massage with an added sensual sensual twist you wont find it at either place.

At both places you're basically getting a rub-and-tug.  You may get upsold for extras but not the norm in my experience.

I would recommend the whole PV (Private Viewing) scene to newbies to the hobby as a way to get your feet wet.  

There are many more quality options available to spend your $$ and get more value for your buck.  Now Copper.....that is the info I wont provide any detail on.  No really, you may be a cop but who really gives a fuck......in this case.  If so, busts of ST and BG would be very low level and a waste of my hard earned tax dollars to set an operation to bust guys getting a below average massage and release.  No FS is provided from these entities.

I must confess I've been to bluegems and I too wasn't crazy about the couch. I had been to a massage place in Toronto, CA where they had a nice massage table and they were very clean. That was a better experience than bluegems. I might check out ST
