Why do you want to hobby in Montgomery County?

It's convenient for me.......SO is out of town for weekend....

Living in Montgomery County, Maryland feels like you're living in a mild prison. LE personnel with arrogant, abrasive, overbearing, and commando personalities are everywhere.  Everything is run by the book. If you fall out of line, you will get run over hard by the authorities.

I totally understand what and why you are asking/saying ...............I have had great times in MG and then moved to BWI....BWI has become scarey.......Your points are well taken and appreciated. Maybe I should begin to look elsewhere. It's just a shame that I can no longer enjoy my hobbying where I want. Thanks for the input....RB

OK. My real question was, why the heck you want to hobby there given all the LE activity. Sorry for not spelling it all the way.

I live in NoVA and am new to the hobby in the states.  I have plenty of experience in other countries, but am a little nervous here.   What is the safest area in the Nova/DC/MD area?

I've never been in LE trouble yet *knock on wood* and whenever out in  Nova I've been in Crystal City in Arlington, Alexandria (old town is probably best) or Fairfax. Can't speak on DC but i've been two silver spring a few times in MD, once in Gaithersburg/Rockville area and sometimes see gents in my Camp Springs, MD area incall.
