Boy this will really blow for touring. I know things will evolve or adjust but it’s going to take awhile. Definitely puts us all in a Tough spot.

Sadly Backpage for now is one place to post ads. Post creative topics here. Clean you site of services offered yes. But even so the hosting site might close.

Join Seeking Arraignments maybe.

But I’m guessing as soon as it’s signed into law there will be law suits stopping it in its implementation.

They are going for sites, not so much indiduals. Clean up ur social media sites like twitter or face book. If there is no implied sexual services offered it should be ok.

Of all things, don’t panic. You might see more from your previous friends since they too will find it difficult to search out for new entertainment.

Sad days ahead I know. But while Cityvibe closed up, maybe permanently, Eros has not. So there is another ad site. P411 is still open, post upgraded ads there.

The guys aren’t going to retire, so unless you want to, just stay strong and see what the future has to bring.

Might be a good opportunity to create a vanilla dating site, or find one, I’m sure the guys will be searching for alternatives so why don’t you.

One thing you do very well that other providers do not is keep up your calendar.  I rely on ad boards to let me know when certain providers are in the area, and that obviously won't work anymore.  My suggestion to all providers is make sure you have a calendar on your personal webiste and keep it up to date.  Not a tremendous help to providers we haven't heard of (or who are not already favorites).  Going to have to rely on the search function a lot more.

Joins seeking arraignments?  Lol! That's the whole thing....I don't think any of us are seeking arraignments! I know it was a typo....but think of it in context to the subject at hand.

Absolutely no calendar, even on your personal site and no rates or etiquette page.  Website needs to be vanilla.

Avoid calendars but at the same time I don't think blog posts talking about your upcoming vacations would be an issue. So many people post about vacations and trips how can that be sensored?

There has to be some solution. What about the Dark Web? I mean its crazy the stuff you can buy on there.

Or what about an ad website that is hosted outside of the US (but would obviously be available to anyone with internet access)?

A calendar date is a detail.  A blog post looking for a recommendation on fun activities in a certain town during a certain week is a detail.  Bottom line, what’s the intent of the content?

The landscape has changed, and counter measures are needed, but it doesn’t mean every counter measure will work, be effective or neccessary.

This law makes hosting sites liable for others content.  What a provider maintained on her website was not protected material before this law.  It was her content.

Agencies with million dollar revenues are making adjustments, for example moving their website domains away from .com and .net (US domain jurisdiction) to others like .cc  So it follows that independent providers might want to make that move too.  But they haven’t dropped the calender function as of yet.

This forum is a great place for the exchange of communication, but that doesn’t make it good information.

If a provider hasn’t read the actual bill yet, now would be a good time to do so.  Now would be a good time to look to resources and organizations that don’t have to hide behind aliases.  First and foremost the ACLU, and equally as important tracking the response of sex worker rights  organizations in the United States.
