Have been in this field close to 10 years and have done what providers request as to screening and references.  However, I recently had a hiccup in the process.  I should say it was a provider-specific. type  She requests that I send her a selfie with my drivers license holding it NEXT TO MY FACE *.    She is a reputable and well reviewed lady.  However that raised another question.  Are most gentlemen comfortable doing that?  I consider myself an average ordinary Joe (or John if you will) and nothing special about me, but I can never imagine a senator or a chief executive / celebrity agreeing to this condition.  Imagine a hacker or some authority monitoring communication and next thing photo is out in public or being sent to the wife!

 * 3 active references, and a long TER whitelist did not matter to her.  Selfie with ID next to face, or else!

Don't ever do that. You never know where that data could end up.

So you're not ever blackmailable(pimp, boyfriend ..etc) or arrestable(for even that initial call by LEO or she's flipped for a better sentence)?  How about 10-15 years from now; are you in that same position?  Some of us act on caution, whereas others act on impulse.  Me thinks references should be enough and IDs is an overreach.  Judging by how many more girls are asking for ID information, it seems I'm in the minority.  Everyone should do what they feel is safe for themselves and let the market decide.

My other soapbox stand is a NO to deposits.

my two cents

Squeaky clean record. I hesitated to disclose another piece of info because I suspected it might get few eyebrows raised. In order for her to feel safe I actually emailed her a copy of my drivers license (street address blurred)….only to hear back from her demanding I hold it next to my face.  Obviously other men have done it…and everyone is different but for me it felt so HUMILIATING.  It’s like a mug shot!  Anyhow, I moved on and never ended up losing sleep over it.

I've been in this for eight years.  I have never shown my ID or given my full real name.  Sorry, not happening.  Same reason ladies use fake names.  Johns use fake names.  I'm lucky enough to have been around to have plenty of references.  But, even still these days off and on a new woman wants to see ID, work information or a Linked profile.  I recall in the last three months I've passed on two very beautiful woman because they required ID or Linked profile.

Not going to potentially destroy my life showing real information.  This life and real life are 100% separate.   Not even worth any lady to risk it.  There are plenty of beautiful amazing woman who won't require information that personal.  They just want confirmation you're not LE and there's ways to do it.

Even though I'm a P411 member, a couple of ladies have asked for my LinkedIn page.  I'm OK with that because anybody can find me on LinkedIn.  I must have a dozen hits per week from people I don't know.  You can pull up anyone's basic page even without an account yourself.  But, the request described here is a bridge too far.

Elite models asked for the same thing and spooked me which is a shame because they seem to have a solid rep here.

I am in total agreement.  I have always agreed to deposits.  As you have mentioned, and while not a substitute for screening, deposits serve as additional reassurance that potential clients are not police.

These are the idiots who show up on Twitter the second they piss of someone.

You want to get shamed to the audience of potential 7 billion people, go ahead and do it. No sex is worth it.. Not even with a playboy supermodel.

I’ve been asked for that at least 5 times in the past few months, especially from Brazilian girls touring the area.  I just move on.  It’s not worth it.  I’m seriously debating moving on from the hobby and seeking my fun on SB websites.  It’s more work but I’ve met a few good looking women on there. The hobby is not worth the hassle

I've literally seen hundreds of providers but this new crop has me considering moving on also. If a recommendation of another escort or TER whitelist is not enough I move on. I've definitely passed on ladies that I felt screening was a bit intrusive.

I screen very thorough, and it's DC... everyone has Confidential, Secret, and Top Secret and etc security clearances.

You cant imagine... thats fine, I screen them with no issues, because they know me and know that is safer than someone who doesnt screen and who knows where they would be end up. Also, many of us has also work that we cannot afford to loose and end up in an uncomfortable situation.

I do also need to know that I dont know you in my civvie circles.

As far as wife's, my issue has been when you (men) dont cover your tracks and your wife ends up on my emails or on my PRIVATE number. but I dont know what they are talking about, I am just a private DC driver and do airport pick ups :)

The information sent, is for my eyes only, thats why I take longer to screen because noone does it for me and I have a life outside V.

Hope you find what you are looking for.... and be safe out there.

humiliating is... end up on the news or tagged on a Facebook acct from certain departments in the area with your face all over, sending it to a reputable provider is that, safety. If you dont like it, go to the next, plenty of people dont screen... and plenty that would scam you, robed you, or never show up. Worst case scenario, you dont leave their place with a happy face but with some silver accessories on your wrist.

Do not send ID or work references ever online.

Let us look at their screening intelligence

         - Send them a work email.  You will get unsolicited emails for lifetime from marketing. That is the least of your worries. The smart ones will have auto response with their stage name (high IQ).  The smarter ones (highest IQ) will have their stage  names attached to their supposed dummy email.  ( from: [email protected] [Daisy Dukes])
The claim is that the email is detached. WTF.  Did I say, they are very smart, classy.

          - Send them your picture ID.   You will be front and center on their Twitter feed for not bringing water bottle to the in call or having your shirt untucked.

The ones with Einstein IQ don't understand that self-employed, business owners can do whatever they want and still insist on calling work number, access websites, refer linkedIn  Duh...

Now they have new breed.  They won't email references but claim they had reached out.  After few conversations they will ask you for photo ID to immediately confirm appt. not waiting for responses.  My references even volunteered to email the lady themselves. Why would I even bother?

There are plenty of awesome women, who can screen with common sense, have in call safety practices in place and show you once in a lifetime experience.  Patronize them and let their tribe grow.

However, we have no idea what security systems you have in place for sensitive information and how vulnerable you are to a hack.  Nor do we know if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend that might have access to your phone or computer.  You might be completely trustworthy with sensitive information but how secure is that information?  You might be getting hacked on a regular basis but are completely oblivious to what is going on.  That's the problem.

True, and we don’t know if you are who you are. If u have history of violence, robbing providers, stalking, etc.

I screen how I feel safe, it’s up to the client If they want to follow my procedures. They can move on if they don’t want to go with my screening. 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Do your homework, make sure the provider is real and have fun.

I’m on the same boat with you gentleman

Never send them your picture ID or work information
Just move on there are plenty of highly reviewed providers out there who will just accept moderate screening which is very understandable and not intrusive, there are some decent providers who accept references from another providers and some accept white listed from here ter
The ones who ask far more info, those are the ones who will be somehow blackmail you and harassing you and posting your info on there Twitter feeds it’s ridiculous

Think about this as entrapment
those who mentions that your privacy information is only for their eyes to see and delete after screening is never secure
Is just so you can send your ID and work info

And providers won’t spend money paying for a high tech security encrypted
Even paid security encryption get hacked online
It’s good to have your regulars so no need to go through all that hustle about extreme screening
Be good
Enjoy the hobby safely
