True Story.
I have several friends and sadly some family who are currently married but they hate their current situations and they desperately want out but they cant because a divorce would devastate them financially to a point where life would no longer be worth living.
So they keep pushing along for the sake of their kids and quite honestly for themselves too.
At this point, to them, even a $3,000+ an hour escort is a better bargain.
Last year, I met someone through my work whose wife spent their entire line of credit "going out shopping buying shit" and they lost their house. I asked him how she much she spent and he said "80k in less than 2 years"
Then he started crying right in front of me.
I was at a loss for words and truly did not know what to say to him to cheer him up.
