I met a provider the other day who seems to be nice and easygoing. She asked for my facebook address so she could add me as a friend. I know about the importance of discrection and privacy.
One can limit the information available to a friend.
This may sound crazy, but has anyone added a provider in your Facebook page,  blocking some information she can see abou you?
Not because you are going to be bad, but because of marital status or a job.

Mixing Hobbying and social media is just going to get you in trouble.

I stay away from all forms of social media, remember once you post something on the internet, it's there forever.

Now ask yourself, do you really want something about your hobbying life, on someone else's Facebook page?
That you have no control over ????

How scary is that.

Don't mix your civilian and hobby worlds unless you want them to collide. Especially using such traceable media.

If you want to hobby with social media, create a separate facebook page for the hobby; many providers and others in the adult industry are on facebook, twitter, and instagram. Just use your hobby phone number. And don't ever, ever, ever mix the two

I have three different facebook accounts for the three different universes I operate in and neither the three shall mix. Then on top of that two of them are on Max privacy.

Edamus, bibamus, gaudeamu

I have a twitter page @cleokali but only allow people I think are twitter friendly and they are not offended of me showing my ass. Facebook well everyone is on my family and I prefer it for my personal use. Put one for hobby and the other for personal use. Stay safe and happy Cleo

The amount of "Big Data" Facebook keeps is scarey enough for real life connections -- mixing this industry into it is just bonkers! IMHO :)

And she's a great personal friend, but if I added her to FB, my SO would be like "WTF is this"?!?  She was mad when I "friended" a stripper lol

AND you have a lot to lose in the hobby...
AND you aren't taking steps to protect your privacy...
then your current cyber-behavior has most likely has already put you at risk. Pro's use TOR and the like ;)
PS - yes you can use FB setting to control who can see what

I have a Whitney FB page and all the guys who add me on there have a hobby FB page that they keep separate from their family/friends page.  Completely anonymous. I never see their real info, they never see mine.  I've never invited anyone to the Whitney page. They just search my email I guess.  Who knows.

I DO have ONE of my favorite boys back in Boston that is on my real FB page, with my real name, etc... obviously we're just good friends now and we don't have a hobbyist/provider thing going on anymore. We both understand the word discretion and trust isn't an issue.  We both have the same amount to lose.  I DO NOT suggest this at all though.  That kind of thing is rare.

Just create a hobby FB page if you must for all those overly sharing escorts.

I'm a firm believer in keeping civilian life separate from hobby life.

Cheers.

Whit

I think I may just create a page for that only or better I won't mix the hobbie and social media.
