For a number of reasons, it’s increasingly difficult for me to hobby in Tysons.

I still have not found many providers in downtown DC, especially compared to years ago.

Any suggestions because still I struggle to find many/any good options.

Oftentimes I’ve seen mongers post looking for a date at a certain time/location. Those posts seem to generate positive responses.

I never get many bookings so I just keep going to Tysons but I wish I could get DC to book me as it's much prettier than concrete Tysons!

Be patient.  The hobby has boom and bust cycles.  Unfortunately, this is a prolonged down cycle.

The parking situation in Tysons compared to DC for those of us that drive is what makes Tysons a much more appealing locale.

For sure, I would think ladies would prefer DC since they can walk around, explore, eat something, etc.

Hotels are also not more or considerably more than Tysons.

Tysons is a concrete jungle.

My issue more relates to time, distance and something I prefer not to mention here that makes Tysons difficult if not impossible these days but DC or Bethesda very convenient.

I guess. Who drives into DC? I take metro in.

Tysons is a disaster with traffic.

Years ago ladies would come to DuPont or elsewhere downtown. Now there is almost nothing.

It makes my Funtime much more difficult logistically wise.

These days I really need it to be in DC or maybe Bethesda.

There’s an over concentration in Tysons imo.

I agree. Plus  it often  takes 30 minutes to get from one part of DC to another and for an extra 10 minutes I can be in Tyson's (I'm in DC)

I find DC to be the disaster with traffic, not Tyson's.

I see a gal who has an incall three miles from my place and it usually takes me half an hour to get there, no matter what time of the day it is.

The hardest part of getting to Tyson's is getting out of DC. Once I'm on 395 it's a short drive.

Have the same view, I live pretty much right in Tysons and I've made it to some in-calls in just over 5 minutes door to parking lot at times. Even during rush hour time 15 minutes max for where I like to go. That said, I'm no where near the beltway when I'm driving and that can be a parking lot at times. So I'm guessing that those that face hellish traffic around Tysons are coming from outside and probably traveling one of the major routes, 495, 395, 66, 50, 7, 123 and the like. (Though 395 has probably gotten much better than my mental image is as I seldom head that direction and the mental image is still from the past when all the road construction was going on, lol).

In the past, I used Metro to meet up with companions in DC. However, I haven't met anyone in DC in ages because of the crime in DC and the unreliability of Metro. Take Metro and get mugged, harassed or be delayed, or drive in and get carjacked.  It seems a fool's choice. Logistically, Tysons is too far away for me to be convenient, so I have missed out on seeing many companions of interest. It's too bad, because the Capitol is a beautiful place.

Metro is a royal palace compared to the NYC subway. I don't ride often now  but I've had no issues with the Metro.

I think people worry too much about traffic and parking. In the central business district, where the good hotels are, parking lots are ample and since COVID, rarely filled. If you are willing to pay today's escort rates, what's an extra $20 for parking? Sure, traffic is unreliable, but same is true getting to Tyson's. Do your homework, and DC will compare favorably. Now, if only more providers would give it a chance.

Issue with DC is most all parking leaves a paper trail unless you park at a lot that accepts cash.  All the hotels only accept credit card and even street parking you use an app or a machine (with a credit card) for a ticket.  Unless you have a good reason to be in DC...the paper trail may come back to haunt you.

But, I recall the days prior to 2019 when DC was primed with ladies touring.
