There have been a couple of recent threads on agencies in which a number of hobbyists complained about the volume of men agency gals see (whether voluntarily or involuntarily). What's interesting to me is that this complaint does not seem to be great enough to spur hobbyists to stop seeing agency gals. If I counted correctly, the only hobbyist who has supposedly sworn off agency gals because of the volume issue is the guy who started the first thread. If volume is really that great of an issue, why not try to force a change in agency practices by publicizing the names of those agencies that seem to work their gals too much and staying away from those agencies? Seems to me that if an agency gets a rep for tired, worn out gals, it will not have much of a customer base. Does the sympathy some hobbyists feign for the agency gal who appears worn out when the door is open not extend to cutting the gal a break by canceling the session? Seems to me that walking away from a gal who clearly appears too tired to deliver what you are looking for is as justified as walking away from a provider who looks nothing like the picture posted in her ad.
Please note that I have nothing against any agency and I'm not advocating that hobbyists stay away from agencies. There just seems to be a big disconnect between the "concerns" expressed for these supposedly worn out gals and the actions of the hobbyists who see them.
I continue to believe that a significant part of these encounters with "tired" agency gals fall into the YMMV category. "I'm really exhausted" is a nice way of saying "I'm just not that into you."
You have a point about reductions in volume resulting in a change in the business model. The agencies would have to increase fees to maintain the same cashflow with lowwer traffic.
I think this thread was started by a hoobyest who was effected by an indiscrete comment by an escort. I'm sure that independents who work at the under $ 300/hr rate probably see as many clients as agency girls at the same price point.
nobody has called out the agency by name. If volume is really the issue, then publicize the name of the agency (or agencies) so we as the consumer can stay away, thereby hopefully influencing a change in their practices. I'm tired of people coming on here and whine and complain but don't name names. That doesn't help your fellow hobbyists.
purpose of the board. You know...exchanging thoughts and experiences...I chose not to ID a particular agency because my comment was indeed a generalzation. And I believe it did manage to stimulate some interesting response. Most, I might add, from individuals who contribute to the hobby by submitting reviews...Their insights have cred and value...yours...ehhh!
Yes I don't submit reviews, but just like the majority of TER users, I come here for info and choose not to write reviews. According to you, we non-reviewers have no business here? I'll take my $20/month elsewhere, I'm sure that would make TER happy. I think that paying to use this website is a worthy contribution to its existence and I'm sure TER is appreciative of my "contribution".
You claim the "purpose of this board is to exchange thoughts and experiences" yet you denigrate those whom you feel are not worthy. Hypocrite. Who's thoughts and experiences do you want....just yours and your buddies? Go back to TBD, they are full of cliques over there....your kind of environment.

any insights you make concerning the hobby lacks cred . Without reviews to your credit there is no certainty that you have even seen a Provider. Paying for membership....lurking on the discussion boards ...relying on others willing to take the time to submit reviews is absolutely fine. I have no prob with that...it is your right...welcome. But , with no evidence that ou have engaged services with Idependent escorts or agency girls, why would one feel you are qualified to express opinions on the subject? Don't wish to continue this, but felt you deserved an honest response to your question.

There is no evidence you have ever experienced an Idependent Provider or agency girl. You definitely have the right to lurk around the boards...even make post... and if indeed you do partake in the game, by all means take advantage of the reports from those who contribute reviews. but when YOU attack individuals with a history of reviews under their belts [ I believe you refer to then as "whiners"]...I have to say your insights lack cred. Hell...for all we know you are a 15 yr old adolescent who managed to get a TER membership. Which agency I was talking about by glancing over my last review. One girl with whom I had a good time told me she didn't complain because she was only here for a short time so she wanted to make as much money as possible. The other two didn't tell me they were overbooked so I wasn't 100% sure (they just looked tired to me). Maybe the OP was correct in his assumption that these two girls were just not into me.

To the issue of tired/overworked ladies. When a hot lady flies in from LA, checks into a downtown hotel, and stays in town two days, has below market rates, do really think her goal is to see only 2-3 guests per day.
I think that hot providers with below market rates plan on high volumes. BTW, it has been my experience that I couldn't tell if she had been with one guy or ten guys before me, especially with a professional. Anyways, stop pretending these ladies are your girl friends. BTW, you can't even tell if your SO or GF has been with another guy(s) just before you unless she she wants you to know.
If the girl didn't want the volume she should just work somewhere else.
I have heard many more complaints from girls who were slow than those who are busy.
I've heard of an agency that shut a girl down for the day, as they did not want her to get over worked. she had seen "X" number of gentlemen that day and wanted more and they said no. I applaud their decision and it raised my opinion of them
