It was unsealed when the arrests were executed.  If it were still sealed then it wouldn't have even been available to be posted.

think rationally.  Half of you seem to get it, the other half don't!  The recent bust of the agencies have nothing to do with the Mann Act (prostitution), it is far deeper then that.  Read the indictment, it is about several foreign nationals running a criminal enterprise, not paying taxes, buying luxury items and doing so, through threat and intimidation.  Not one escort or client has been charged!

Guess this should end any future discussion of agencies vs independents!

Never understood why you wool entrust an agency or anyone with so much personal information, just to get laid!

Hopefully the client list will not be published, time will tell!  But aside from that, no client or escort has been charged!   The indictment is pretty cut and dry!

What I find interesting is that the document that was posted is a sealed indictment. I am surprised no one is talking about the implications of that being posted on the net and possible obstruction of justice investigations.....

Nails it pretty much on the head. The feds wouldn't waste time with anything that doesn't yield either proceeds or publicity. The local small time scene (i.e. Independents and small "assistant" type organizations) is of no interest to the feds. "Johns" are of even less significance to them unless you are caught in the crossfire of a bust.

Unless, some of the smaller assistant type organizations had ties to said, big agencies!  Hmmmmm, it is a small town!

two very high priorities these days.

Banks report large cash deposits / withdrawals / wire  transactions to the IRS.  Then the shit hits the fan and people get busted.

is when push comes to shove and these defendants and their lawyers start trying to make deals with the feds, these guys are going to sing like birds and spill whatever they can if they think it will help them. The feds know putting fear into Johns will make their job that much easier by hurting business for escorts.

I said it before, I would not want my name or info associated with this bust in any way, shape, or form.

That might be true if they were just trying to bust a prostitution ring.  But it's much, much bigger than that from what I've read.

The individuals indicted are going to do what?  Give names of johns to make a deal for money laundering to go away or take a plea for a lesser charge.  The money laundering evidence will be and is crystal clear from banking transactions and/or confiscated cash.  There's no way to get around it and the gov't wouldn't have proceeded if there was.

But you are right about having your name in their client list.  Not sure how you'd explain that one.

weren't invited to this party.
Going backwards in the investigation by contacting the Johns at this point seems pointless..that's unless a trick was in on it at the level the others that've been accused.
That's a plus for the Johns.

Completely agree with your logic and I'm using that to keep myself calm. My only thought regarding client list is if they find someone big (ala Spitzer) and decide to move forward with that.

that the athorities resist the temptation of the low hanging fruit [ escorts & hobbyist] and focus on the serious crimes of the thug pimps that ran the enterprise. These are truley dispictable people who are a threat to society. As far as I am concern there is not a hole deep enough for them.

I saw a provider about six months ago who warned me about the investigation.

Don't know who or how she knew about it, but I'm glad she let me know.

A federal indictment doesn't prevent state charges from being filed.  This could very well be just part one, the rest could be coming soon or could have already been filed and is sealed.
