I was laying in bed this am, and didn't want to get out of bed ( it turned artic in DC today) and I got to thinking, and touching and thought..... I wonder what others preferences are in lubes?

So tell me which is your favorite your favorite lube? And why do you choose that brand, type, style?

Here's mine,

I prefer to DT you and in doing  so my throat produces the best lube by far. lol. Really I can make a 4 foot string with mine. (voyer that I am), and If everyone's ever spent some time with me, they know I personally don't need to use it. LoL
I do however carry Nuru gel with me when someone requests it. It is very slimy and never dries out.

Stay warm DC.

That's something to think about. There ARE lubes that WILL stain your linens.

I prefer flavored lubricants over any other types of lubricants because after during or after sex, I can still DATY without the after bitter taste of regular lubricants. Some of the popular flavors are watermelon, cheery, and strawberry.

Don't expect to find a wide selection of flavored lubricants in your local CVS stores, they only flavored lubricants they have are KY yours and mines, which is chocolate and cheery, and the price is ridiculous.

You can find a wide selection of flavored lubricants at your exotic stores, and its usually under $10 a bottle. Wet however seems to be offered in most stores, there are definitely others that are available. Below is a link to different types of flavored lubricants.

the water soluble KY silk works great for me. I always cover my toys so I can share them with everyone hence a treasure of condoms to fit every shape and size but only one bottle of lube.

Kisses Haley

Pink Silicone is my favorite as I like the texture and how long it lasts.
If I'm avoiding silicone then I generally go with Sliquid Organics, I've been using their regular water based lube but I picked up a bottle of the Carrageenan based one recently and though I've yet to try it out I'm pretty interested. I've been doing a lot of reading on carrageenan based lubes and I'm not ready to use them full time as my everyday lubricant but it's nice to have more options available.

If you have ever used a vaginal lubrication, you may or may not know if your specific product is really safe for you to use. There is a specific kind of lubrication that is safe, mild and happens to be the least expensive kind of personal lube. A huge majority of women really do not know that using the wrong kind of vaginal lubrication can lead to pain and infections in the vagina. What is worse is that with the wrong kind of lube, that infection can spread throughout the entire body. Here is everything you need to know to always stay safe when choosing and using vaginal lubrication.

First of all, there are some lubes that are oil based lubrication. Many people like them because of their slippery, oily feel. However (well just get right to the point) the huge drawbacks to oil based lubes is that they stain sheets and fabrics such as bed sheets and you can never, ever use this type of lubricant when any kind of intercourse is going on basically, you can not let it get inside your body. This is because the oil is going to coat delicate tissues in the vaginal and anal areas, which completely disrupts the pH of the vagina. This leads to all kinds of bacteria growing and also fungi, which then turns into a painful bout of you guessed it, a yeast infection. Unless you are a dude who is going to masturbate with it, leave it on the store shelf.

Silicone based vaginal lubrication is safe for most people to use. Just like oil based products, these have a nice, smooth silky feel to them and they also stain sheets and are difficult to wash off of skin. These are usually okay to use as vaginal lubrication, as long as you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. Although silicone based products are probably the most expensive kind of lubrication overall, it also lasts longer without drying out, which means you use less comparatively and you dont have to keep re applying it as often.

Water based vaginal lubrication is the most popular type of personal lube by far. This is for a couple of different reasons. First of all it is the cheapest type of vaginal lubrication. The second reason is that it is gentle, usually even for people with sensitive skin. Another reason for its popularity is that it will not stain linens and fabrics and easily washes off of the skin. The only big drawback to these is that they dry out quickly because of the water base, which means that it has to be re applied often, especially during sexual activity. It is safe to use for all kinds of intercourse, by the way, and also can be used with latex condoms and silicone and rubber sex toys, which oil based and silicone based vaginal lubrication can not claim

I prefer water based, edible lubes.  This particular one stays slick for a long time.  I ran out of it once.  In the meantime I used my Astroglide lube.  I had to use twice as much of the astroglide, and it tasted bad too.  I learned my lesson.  I always keep my H20 lube in stock.

I like the Cherry Burst the best.  But they offer a few different flavors.  I like the Banana Lick and the Peachy Lips too.  I haven't tried the others.  But I am sure I eventually will!

Here is how they advertise this lube on www.undercovercondoms.com. I also included a link.  I buy all my lubes and condoms from them.  They are great.
