I've known a number of providers who have small dogs as their companions to keep them company and to wile away the many long, lonely hours, in one strange hotel room after another,  as they post, answer the emails, texts and calls until when clients actually show up. They are more than a mere pet. They are a living symbol of someone, something that is seen as safe, to whom they can express their emotions to in an otherwise emotionless profession. In other words, such a pet can mean a whole lot to you and the other ladies out there. With this in mind, I shall definitely be saying a prayer this evening that God might allow your little friend to quickly recover and return to you, and that our Lord will also watch over you and give you extra strength and comfort to continue making it through your daily life during this difficult time for you. I can definitely relate, some fucker just hit my car while I was at work and didn't leave a fucking

note!!! I can understand if its a small scratch, but the entire left back side of my car has this gigantic dent. I got that asshole though. The thing about DC and especially where I work, there are cameras everywhere you fucktard!! I got your license plate number you asshole!

I can definitely understand the value of a dog. Dogs are there for you when you need them. Even though they don't talk back, they are there for companionship. Some dogs, especially my old dog was an attention getter, and I would almost think that it was another "person", so I can definitely relate. Hope everything turns well for you and your dog.

I just hate hit and run fucktards, they think no one is watching. There are always people watching assholes!
