At least in my case, I saw her ad and was interested. I called her up. She called back. First alarm, she doesn't sound "Brazilian" at all, whatever her ad says. In fact, she sounds like she's from Northern Virginia. I also noted the 571 area code, and the fact that she was an indy w/o reviews. I spoke with her and mentioned that she didn't have any reviews and she replied that she did have one review from TER Atlanta. I told her I'd call her back. I read the review -- favorable and from someone who has posted and reviewed before, so I was ready to TOFFT (it was a very quiet night, provider-wise.)
I called her back and scheduled an appt. for that evening (despite the various alarm bells going off.) We arranged a time and place. When the time to confirm came and went, I called her again. I received no callback to say she was running late, no call whatsoever, in spite of several calls from me to her answering machine saying, "What gives?" I think I got lucky. I won't be calling her again.
