The ad is a scam and a total RIPOFF.  They ripped me off this weekend.

The details:
I was visiting DC this weekend and was doing research to plan a date (evidently I didn't do enough research!).  I had contacted a few ladies. All were booked.  So, back to EROS...  I was staying in Falls Church not far from Tysons so my search centered on the Tysons area.  I'm not that familair with the area, and didn't want to risk driving around, so I opted for outcall to my hotel.  I wanted Asian and searched Asian and outcall.  I saw several with blurred faces and figured probably b&s.  Although she had no reviews, (mistake number 1) I picked Jade because she shows her face.  

I Made the call in afternoon for a night appointment.  The answering service said she would call me back.  She called within 15 minutes.  After some preliminary screening the date was set.  so far so good.  She said she would call an hour before to confirm and she did. Again, so far so good.  I took a shower, freshened up and got ready.

I get the knock at the door 5 minutes early - I'm thinkin' this is a good sign - right on time! even early!.  I peak through the peep hole and see a cute Asian in the hall way - ok!! I thought!  I open the door and let her in.  As I'm closing the door she walks right past me and all the way across the room to sit in the farthest chair.  No hug, no kiss, etc.  hmmm??  Not your typical entrance - my suspisions are raised already.  Then I look at her and she is not the girl in the pic.  I should have asked her to leave right then and there but I didn't 'cause she was cute enough and I figured what the heck, she's here so why not.  If this is a b&s I don't mind as long as we get to it - she's cute.

I also notice she is not carrying a purse of any kind.  She only has her cell phone in her hand - suspiscions raised further.  She calls to check in: "Hi, it's Jade, yeah, I'm here, everything is ok.  I thinkin' hmmm, she doesn't look prepared to hit the sheets.  An escort not carrying a purse? no supplies? no condoms?  Since I had some of each in my bag I thought no problem, when we get to it I'll get the supplies.  Stupid me - I should have said something right then and there and told her to leave.  But I figured well we'll give it a try.  

She asks me for the fee (which is in an envelope on the dresser).  I point to it, she opens it and counts it.  She stands up puts in in her front jeans pocket and sits down.  Once she did that, I realized I'm not getting it back and I'm about to get ripped off.  Then she asks me to sign a cash receipt.  WTF is this???  I say no at first and she says well, it's just a formality.  I say I have NEVER had to do that (I've been hobbying since 2002).  She says well, it's a formality in VA, etc.  I figured maybe this is some bullshit so that once we start if I was LE, it's for her "protection".  I figured if this will get it started then all right, so I initialed it.  

Things settle down and we beging the little get to know you chat.  During the chat she uses phrases like: "...all my other clients, my regulars, my regular clients...in this business,  etc"  So I'm thinkin' maybe I'm not getting ripped off.  Then I said to her: "you don't look like the the girl in the pic.  She says: "yeah, everyone says that?!?  I don't know why!?!  When they took the pic, I just woke up.  They said: here, we're takin your picture, so, it's not a real good one.  That was a red flag cause she obvioulsy didn't know what the picture even looked like, and it's definitely not of someone who 'just woke up'  I'm thinking: "ok, it IS a b&s"  But, I'm still hopeful (stupid me) thinking: "she's cute enough, as long as we get to it, I don't mind."  Besides, she has the fee, and I already know I'm not gettin it back.  I mention again that it doesn't look like her in
the pic and that I'm thinking its a 'bait and switch'.  ...and she asks me: "what's a bait and switch?"  I explain and she says: "oh yeah, I kind of heard about stuff like that..."  I'm thinkin' oh fuck!  

The odd thing was that she asked me THREE times: do you wnat to go out?  I'm like wtf?  No I don't want to go out, what do you mean? she says:  You know, out to a bar for a drink or something.  I said no.  She says: well, a LOT of my regulars do.  I ask: well, if I DID say yes, do you get in my car and we leave the hotel? or would we go in your car (which no way in hell would I do!!).  She says: no, we would go separately and I would meet you there.  Yeah right! I thought.  So I asked her if others actually pay her to do that?  she says: OH YEAH.  I said: No, I think I want to stay in trying to give her a hint to get started.  But, she keeps finding new threads to talk about.  After about 15 minutes I'm thinkin' all right lets get started here.  At the next lull in the conversation I said well, stand up, let's see how cute you are.  She says what do you mean?  I say you know, stand up, I want to take a look at you - I want to see how cute you are.  She pops up out of the chair and sits right back down immediately.  I'm like wtf was that? She asks me again if I want to go out and I'm thinkin' what is going on here?  So I say agin: "NO, I want to stay in."  Then she asks: "well what do you want to do?"  Ok, now I'm gettin' a little spooked thinking maybe it's an LE sting and If I say what I want to do I'm busted.  Now I'm really cautious.  So I say you know, fool around.  She says what do you mean fool around?  I said YOU KNOW, fool around! - we get undressed and fool around!.  She responds with OHH? You wanted a prostitute?  WELL I'M NOT A PROSTITUTE. I DON'T DO THAT.  Now I'm really pissed 'cause I realised I WAS getting ripped off (I figured it out before this but was denying
it, hoping that wasn't the case).  So, now she has the fee (250) in her front pocket. I can't take it from her, I don't want to create a scene, escalate things, etc.  I said: WTF? you advertaise on EROS and CityVibe you know the deal. she says: oh, those are COMPANION SITES. I'm a COMPANION not a PROSTITUTE.  I said no, I called an escort service and in my experience Escorts fool around - what do you think I'm paying you for?  she says: well, you are paying me for my time as a COMPANION.  Now if you want to go out and have a drink, we could.  If not, I'm going to leave.  I said not with the money  she says Oh, no, you signed a cash receipt.  the money is for my time.  My time is valuable too ya know, I had to drive over here, etc.  You reserved an hour of my time and now you don't want to go out.   She gets on the phone and call in.  She tells the other end: yeah, he wanted a PROSTITUTE, yeah, That's what I told him.  He wants his money back. yeah, that's what I told him  (she is keeping the other person on the line so they can here what's going on - I guess for her safety - 'cause one day they will mess with the wrong person and she will get her ass kicked).  She then says to me I can give you a time credit to be used in the future the
next time you come to DC  I'm like WHAT THE FUCK?? A TIME CREDIT?? I finally told her to get the fuck out and thanked for ripping me off.

Also,  sorry for the length.  I know it was long, but I felt it was important to share the details as they unfolded and the conversation/what was said so that might help someone detect they are being ripped off sooner than I did.  ...as I look back now, not having a purse and the no hug/no kiss entrance is/was a dead give away - I should have ended it right there.

Your first hint should have been that there are 2 girls on the ad Jap and Korean. there are many great agencies in DC as well as 100's of Indys. Always do your homework

I agree with Mr. 797, er 500, that this board is very welcoming to those from out of town who are looking for the straight deal (as long as they don't hide behind an alias). I hope you make it back this way and drop us a line to let the DC crew know - we will definitely help you out.

I know this will be small comfort, but I was ripped so bad once that I actually wasn't even mad. I walked the room calmly planning the Marsellus Wallace-esque demise of the assholes behind the whole scheme, with truly no doubt in my temporarily self-righteous mind that I would find "them." I eventually returned from la-la-land and became very angry as I realized my so-called plans existed only in the fantasy of my own furious mind - and that I was really mad at myself, anyway. "A fool and his money..." you know. I saw that the sooner I got over it the better off I would be. I realized I was actually furious with myself for being taken (the bastards!) What makes it so shitty is that you know you have to swallow it - there's nothing you can do (at least, not if you're possessed of even a small amount of character). This situation infuriated me so much that I took to dreaming about becoming one of the scammers. I knew, though, that I couldn't do it - I have to shave the same face in the mirror every morning. That's what kills me about the assholes who run these scams. They are no account thieves.

Mostly, those of us who find ourselves in this situation are compromised by our hope that it will work out. After everything we go through to get to the point where it's us and the girl in a room alone, it is damn near impossible for some of us to say "no, get out" before the money changes hands. Also, those who've been around the hobby are all the more upset because we can write the critique of our actions ourselves, as you largely demonstrated above.

Anyway, I hope you hang in there and give us a shot nice time.

Now i'm not sure if this were the case. But I once interviewed a girl who stated she previously worked for a "no-sex" agency. When recruiting, the agency would advertise that they are a no sex agency and each girl would be paid a ton of money for keeping someone company and ect., ect., ect. The women would read those ads and jump to the opportunity because hey, it's easy money.

She was under the impression that she wasn't supposed to have sex and the agency trained her on how to react if a guy expected it(which is when the ripoff takes place). I'm not sure of how much blame is placed on the girl or the agency itself, but one thing is clear, those agencies are placing women in potentially dangerous situations.

Sorry to hear what happen to you Joe. There's a agency in NOVA that has these "companions". I don't know a lot about them but they are obvious rip offs.

One day these girls going to run into the wrong dude.

Say it ain't so, Joe. Sorry for your experience. But listen, pal, that's what we're here for. Check the reviews, check the reviews, check the reviews. If my Mother were listing on EROS, I would check TER's reviews first. There are so many snakes out there, especially working for these rip-off agencies, that one just can't be too careful. Look at the bright side: although you're out $$.5, at least you're alive. In parts of DC, they knife you for putting up the objections you did. But thanks for alerting the rest of us who may be achin' for an Asian.
