What is the most stressful part of the hobbying "routine" for most of you? For me it is walking into an unfamiliar hotel lobby and locating the elevators. I know it seems like a small thing but I don't want to walk in and stand around looking confused thereby attracting attention to myself. I usually pick a direction and hope I spot them as I walk by.  Does anyone else hate that?

That bothers me as well. I usually ask where the elevator is located before I arrive, and then walk through the lobby like I belong there. That usually elevates the stress.

That's a nice touch including the elevator location with the room number. Perhaps I'll have to try your agency next time :)
Thx

That's a great practice and I hope other providers begin to do so, as well...I hate having to pretend I belong there while searching for the elevator.

Like other posters suggested, ask the provider or the agency. I know some them who tell me without asking.

Otherwise, I would pretend I'm talking on the cell phone and being absent minded. If you are really afraid, cover your face with a newspaper when you walk past the front desk.

You could stick exclusively to providers who work in motels. No one thinks twice about people at motels wandering around like they're lost.

Okay then, here's your first test. Where are the elevators located at the Hilton in Columbia?  Lol
