Hi, I'm Cori Daniels, and I'm thinking about traveling to the D.C., but I don't know *anything* about the area.  Can anyone help me out with some areas I should be looking at hotels (not motels please) that might offer en-suite amenities like semi- to full-kitchens?  I have a pretty good gluten allergy, so I tend to make my own dishes a lot.  Maybe you would like to try one of my brownies sometime.  No one can tell there's no regular flour in them.  

You planning to stay in DC proper or more on the outskirts like Northern Virginia?

I'm not sure honestly.  That;s why I've come here.  I mean, obviously this is how I eat, and I want to be nearest the best hobbyists, but also in an area that makes it easier for them to come visit me.  I just don't know *anything* about the area and any guesses I have are going to be just that...guesses.

Well, like with anything, there are pros and cons. DC Proper areas like Dupont Circle are popular because they are on metro stations which is how a large majority of people travel and it is right in the city, but parking is INSANE!!! Crystal city is just outside DC, in VA but is a great pick because it is right next to the Ronald Reagan National Airport. Prices are kind of high for the hotels there though. One of the favorites for most girls out here is Tysons Corner, VA. It is on several major highways so traffic can sometimes be incredibly insane but it is a large area with several great options for a variety of hotels (including extended stay hotels that offer kitchenettes), has several metro stops, and the prices are the better out of the 3 areas. Bad thing there is, because it is a popular area, there is a good chance you're not the only person staying at that hotel so sometimes traffic into the hotel may be high because multiple girls could potentially be there. I've ran into that a time or two.
