If you were a customer of both agencies (DMV and CDC)....

are you more likely to get called up to testify if needed, since you visited both and you can testify against both of them? I know, it is all hypothetical. Also, someone could have used your info, hacked your email and sent them emails, and while you were away from your computers they could emailed or used your cell, etc...
But how would you explain your name being in BOTH? Co-incidence?
What if LE bust more agencies and highly regarded indies - now that they are trying to get ALL AGENCIES or HIGH PROFILE INDIES with many customers - your name also appears there?
Has anyone thought of this?

Dude I got a family and reputation that I need to protect. I know some people used my email and cell phone to call and confirm with escort services and other verification services like p411, while i went out to use a restroom or stepped out of the room to take a break. So my name being published will be considered a libel. Many I know have hired lawyers for a possible defamation lawsuit if needed. The reason they got SpitZer was that FBI actually stalked him and his escort and taped their encounter, except for the actual sex. However, later the escort confessed when she was confronted by a FBI agent. Anyways. One's name appearing in both agencies' list and in a few other ones that could go down soon is going to be hard to eXplain. JUst say that the agencies share info? Yes? Right!

Other online sources have written that since they were not charged with obstruction that it's very highly likely the DOJ has the client list of not only the agency but that of the informants as well. And that it is believed they are comparing that to the federal employee database, especially those who have security clearance or access to sensitive data. I think many people will be fired or reprimanded at the least. Getting called to testify is a separate issue. Both of these are serious concerns to anyone who might be on these lists. "Mr Ambassador, who was with you at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida? And why did our government pay for that?" This might be tough to answer?

DOJ is handling it because of Tax issues, and they worked in serveral states so they could include the fedeal racketeering charges - the big issue is taxes and physical assualt.

The way they treated the ladies they were lucky the did not get human trafficing and extortion.

living in this area means high security and those who have security clearance go through a lot of background check specially for things like this, so there is a chance that if there is a hit on that list from the agency vs a list of those who are employed by gov that they will get a call and it will not be a good conversation

for the average joe, it means nothing ..

now if they find a name of a donuts shop owner on that list, they will blackmail that poor bastard to bankruptcy by asking for free donuts every day :-)

Security clearances are big in this area but I am pretty sure based on experience that they do not go through agency escort lists (even if they have them). If your name is on such a list there is not proof you actually did anything wrong. So the average Joe with a security clearance has nothing to worry about.

Now a high level official or well-known politician might have to worry but only if information is leaked.

Calm down folks they have who they want and the feds are going to get their money - that is all this is about. They have sprinkled in some other charges to make it interesting.

There you go again - you know nothing of what you speak of. You would not know a security clearance if it bit you in  the ass.

All of this fear-mongering and quite honestly making things up is ridicululous. Read the paperwork they have who they want and the main players are still sitting in jail!

This is about one agency (ok two but they are tied together in so many ways it is not even funny so they may as well be one) and the people who ran it. They go arrogant. They got popular, they got big, they thought they could do whatever they wanted to the ladies that worked for them, they started to abuse clients, and extort the ladies in order to give them appointments, AND MOST OF ALL THEY DID NOT PAY THEIR TAXES - want attention flip Uncle Sam the bird for not pay taxes.

EE you seem to know so much - maybe you are one of those people with a security clearance that should be worried. But I doubt it because you are sitting there in Texas stirring the pot in DC for reasons I just dont understand.

Lots of nice ladies in your area - go play - have some fun and leave us alone - we can handle it.

You've seen those shows? Some wild shit going on in those shows. Once time, they found this dude's identity because they found a leaf and a pair of tweezers.

Don't over think it. Just enjoy your life and stop worry about petty scenarios. What if, could have, would been, leave that shit in the past and enjoy life man.

sometimes they will ask you the questions hoping you would lie to them so that you actually commit a crime  right in front of their face (lie to a police office) or the other thing.. hindering an investigation  or probably a few other things

best thing I say to do is what you can do and ask for a lawyer and say nothing, this way your lawyer can figure it out.. however be ready to pay a couple of thousand dollars to figure it out AND you probably raise some more questions as to why you choose to get a lawyer, perhaps you got something to hide which will in turn cost you more lawyer time .. so no matter how you look at it, you are fucked

now if you don't have a SO and can afford it, then who cares.. but if there is SO involved, you could lose 50% of your hobby money on top of whatever you pay your criminal lawyer and your divorce lawyer.. but again losing a SO could be a blessing in itself :-)

I'll make LE regret ever fucking me with. It all depends on your network, you'll be surprise at how many people I know, and I have several best friends that are lawyers. Money shouldn't be an issue. I am educated in my civil rights and I never talk without a lawyer. Period. They can try, but they'll regret it, I'll make those fuckers lose their careers if they want to chance it.

People seem to think that your options are limited to:

1. Talking to the police; or
2. Getting a lawyer.

In reality, your other option (and I would submit your best option) is to tell them that you'll want to consult with a lawyer before you speak with them.  If you lawyer says it's okay, you'll give them a call.

I've heard others say that you should ask them, "Am I under arrest?"  Getting into a confrontation with LE like that is a real bad idea.  They're trained, and it's their disposition, not to back down from a contest of wills.

If they're not going to arrest you, you'll know soon enough.

If you turn it into a contest, they may arrest you just not to lose.  Of course, if they don't have probable cause, your attorney may get you released... At the arraignment.

If you're not stupid and not a dick, you're not going to get arrested just because of your phone number, and highly doubtful on an e-mail.  They need a witness to actual activity.

If you have a SO and don't want a knock at the door from cops asking questions about escort services, then you need to change hobbies, or take the somewhat different risks associated with independents.

Seriously, you shouldn't be in this hobby if you can't take some CALCULATED risks. If you are gong to worry that well-reviewed indies are being flipped, you should just quit. Stay away from the agency girls and you should be OK. Nothing is guaranteed in life but no risks no rewards.

Okay,
Out of the thousand or so names on the client list say 200 are govt employees. Do you think they are going to contact OPM to compare all the names and contact each individual to see if it is indeed them?  Heck, there isnt a lot of cooperation between federal agencies even in matters of national security but for this prostitution investigation its suddenly going to happen? Have you been inside a govt building lately?  Most are in various stages of disrepair. Most use computers that are very outdated.
My point?  All of this would cost money that no federal agency has in abundance right now. I know of govt employees that have committed domestic battery and DUI that are still working so I don't think anyone has much to worry about. If you were an integral part of the case you would've been contacted by now.

My friend's friend who was visiting needed local workers info so they used my computer to set up appointments. Later he did that for us. I engaged in no sex. So LE should not come And disturb our home and wake up my wife and kids. AlSo once my pal used my work phone to call them. LE could have taped me just having companionship haha. Wat can they do with that :p
