Thinking about visiting DC any hotel suggestions?

and cloose to stay downtown. I suggest that you stay at a hotel that is within walking distance to a Metro station. Parking downtown is a problem. The areas like Foggy Bottom, Woodley Park, Gallery Place are well located and have an abundance of restaurants, clubs, bars, museums.

Outside DC I suggest Arlington VA, Crystal City Va or Bathesda Md

Some good suggestions were made by the previous poster on excellent neighborhoods to stay in.  I'm happy to provide further advice by PM on individual hotels -- hint, think boutique hotels!

I am thinking about visiting DC for a short three days at the end of the month. Besides DuPont Circle area any other areas to stay that are centrally located? Also, is there any interest in me coming for a visit. :) Please Pm me with any advice or inquiry's
