A long time VIP member here and went to renew. Everything is now in Euros, so a one year membership is over $240. That is beyond outrageous and consequently I am searching for an alternative source of quality information. Any suggestions?
+1...if a mere $240 deters you from getting vital info, you are clearly in the minor leagues, and no offense meant. Most friends cost more than that for a visit. To me it is a minor investment for safety and reality re: our pleasures.
give up one trip per year to a mediocre provider thus saving your 240.00. And by the way if your looking to save 240.00 you probably shouldnt be in the hobby anyway.....02
I submit them and, more often than not, no action is ever taken. I have submitted 3 recently: one was approved and I got two days VIP; another was approved and I got zero days VIP ...wtf? The third has been "new" for over a week.
Local mod offered to help, and I believe sent me a PM. But, as I do not have VIP now, can't get the PM.
And don't tell me to pay up or write reviews--if the stated deal is that problem reports gain you the days, ter ought to stick to it.
My experience has been that, while they do take considerable time to approve problem reports (over a week sometimes), they eventually always do get approved and I rack up extra VIP days like frequent flyer miles!
Writing reviews is easier said than done when the review nazis refuse to approve reviews for the most arbitrary of reasons...

Review I cited mentioned almost no details but rating was a 10; seemed clear from lack of detail that the requisites for a 10 were nonexistent.
What is bringing this site down is the damned greedy imbecilic Ditchmen or whoever runs it. I find myself using it less and less, because it is usually a waste of time--becoming the new eros.
Totally agree. I don't want READ the stuff they say they want now, much less WRITE it or invent it myself. I'm taking one last crack at a submittal, then I'll just move on to the regional boards. A review site is only as good as the reviews it contains!
