People in the street, even the woman with no legs will use the money for drugs and alcohol. Not saying everyone on the street but a very high percentage. A provider will put your money towards bills and savings(hopefully) and you should be fine with that. I am talking about providers such as myself, not ones that are on drugs. Yes I will put the money towards my extensive DVD collection or treats for my spikes dogs, but it all goes to a good place. 
Have kids and/or family to take care of, and car payments and bills. Those who don't have kids or aging parents are at least taking care of themselves (and usually a pet or two 
This is a job and most, in my opinion, try to do it well. It's called a donation but it isn't, not at all. It's payment for a service that does have costs associated with it. We work for our money, just like you do. Many of us take pride in our work. Just like dentists, and mechanics, and lawyers do. We are not asking for a hand-out.
If anything, I'm like if I got rid of that stuff over there that I haven't used in years, I could get three visits. LOL
I don't think the original poster meant this as an insult to providers.

Okay, comparing providers to material luxury items might not be the right approach either, but hopefully you get my point anyway... but hey, we all need to occassionally spoil ourselves, right?

Many providers, self included, pay taxes on our income.
I only met one provider who I thought maybe was on drugs and even in her case, it was only rumor, so I was never sure about that. I knew of three who had disabled kids at home and had a hard time holding down a 9-5 job because of that.
I have also met or known of providers who take what they earn and give back to charities, or reach out to troops with care packages, or take care of rescue animals.
I only knew one provider, personally, who spent her earnings lavishly on clothes and shoes -- but she earned it, too, and she had the right to what she wanted with it.
Don't be so sure about that engineering job! You would not believe how difficult the job market is right now, even for those of us with experience and degrees. Providing keeps some of us off welfare.
So definitely give the money to the homeless if that is what your heart tells you to do. It's good to be generous to people who need it. I just think maybe don't lump us in the "charity" category.
I didnt intend to mean it as charity to the girls vs charity to the homeless. I was refering to guys using the money on providers (luxury) when the only reward is cumming vs spending the money on something more meaningful. And I felt dumping the money in the cup so homeless could get food etc is a better use since the girls say they have other talents and can get another job be it workathome or the office. I feel like a provider is the ultimate luxury as even booze in small quantities has health benefits. And that the fact sex is readily available for free and some people choose to pay screams luxury(like private school vs public school)...but sex is not easy to obtain drama free or with an attractive person at will in the real world. And yes you need the money or illusion of money to get the quality of some of these providers in the real world especially lookswise....but in the hobby I just need to save-up a few hundred and dont need a certain lifestyle or income to get some action from a model
