Knowing when to hold them and fold them is something I'm learning, but… I appreciate you guys and thank you for reminding me how awesome this naughty hobby is. MUAH!!!

... I mean I tend to pass by someone begging for change on my way to see a lady. And sometimes i'm like damn I bet they could use the money more and almost feel like canceling an appointment. I seen a woman with double crutches that couldn't use her legs too well holding a cup and sometimes I feel like I should dump the money in her cup. But by the time I grab a beer and head to the location i'm good....but in that initial drive morality sort of hits and at other random times. How do you dudes push past it and accept hobbying as the best use of money at the time?

Hell, the girls in the hobby claim to be in school or college educated....so i'm sure they could be an engineer or something. I highly doubt most would be on the corner asking for change....or could use financial aid if they in school and pay back loans for life like most of the population, hahaha.

People in the street, even the woman with no legs will use the money for drugs and alcohol. Not saying everyone on the street but a very high percentage. A provider will put your money towards bills and savings(hopefully) and you should be fine with that. I am talking about providers such as myself, not ones that are on drugs. Yes I will put the money towards my extensive DVD collection or treats for my spikes dogs, but it all goes to a good place. ;-)

Before I seem crazy lol. Yes donate to charities and whatever you want to . I would rather donate a large sum to a homeless shelter rather then a person begging on the street.

Have kids and/or family to take care of, and car payments and bills. Those who don't have kids or aging parents are at least taking care of themselves (and usually a pet or two :) This is a job and most, in my opinion, try to do it well. It's called a donation but it isn't, not at all. It's payment for a service that does have costs associated with it. We work for our money, just like you do. Many of us take pride in our work. Just like dentists, and mechanics, and lawyers do. We are not asking for a hand-out.

Many providers, self included, pay taxes on our income.

I only met one provider who I thought maybe was on drugs and even in her case, it was only rumor, so I was never sure about that. I knew of three who had disabled kids at home and had a hard time holding down a 9-5 job because of that.

I have also met or known of providers who take what they earn and give back to charities, or reach out to troops with care packages, or take care of rescue animals.

I only knew one provider, personally, who spent her earnings lavishly on clothes and shoes -- but she earned it, too, and she had the right to what she wanted with it.

Don't be so sure about that engineering job! You would not believe how difficult the job market is right now, even for those of us with experience and degrees. Providing keeps some of us off welfare.

So definitely give the money to the homeless if that is what your heart tells you to do. It's good to be generous to people who need it. I just think maybe don't lump us in the "charity" category.

I didnt intend to mean it as charity to the girls vs charity to the homeless. I was refering to guys using the money on providers (luxury) when the only reward is cumming vs spending the money on something more meaningful. And I felt dumping the money in the cup so homeless could get food etc is a better use since the girls say they have other talents and can get another job be it workathome or the office.

I feel like a provider is the ultimate luxury as even booze in small quantities has health benefits. And that the fact sex is readily available for free and some people choose to pay screams luxury(like private school vs public school)...but sex is not easy to obtain drama free or with an attractive person at will in the real world.

And yes you need the money or illusion of money to get the quality of some of these providers in the real world especially lookswise....but in the hobby I just need to save-up a few hundred and dont need a certain lifestyle or income to get some action from a model

that have come to mind before, after, and during appointments.
Honestly, I can't say that "gee I could have given this money to a charity" is at the top of the list.
Can still easily do both.
I think a bigger potential moral issue around money would be if you are neglecting needs for you family (if married), due to this little hobby (i.e., not paying some bills or saving properly for child's education, etc.).  I'm single, so this wouldn't apply to me.

You could also add up what you pay for eating out (no pun…ok some pun) every month and donate that. Or the last time you bought shoes when you still had a perfectly good pair… or the $20 dollar movie tickets for those blockbusters or buy generic everything and save up to make a donation that in your mind goes to something worthy…

I don't think you meant to be offensive but...
Put the fun and sexy aside for a minute and realize you are comparing homeless charity to the earned fee of someone who handles your bodily fluids…or to be less vulgar your johnson. Hey I could donate the money it costs me to get checked up by my doctor 6+ times a year, or donate the money it costs to be in swanky hotels and go motel on my friends, or buy condoms from the dollar store rather than trusted brands, or wear a wife beater with my hair in a ponytail (actually I look great in a wife beater…) and save money on dresses and shoes and lingerie and perfume and lotions and potions… DONATE EVERYTHING TO THE HOMELESS!!!

but I've made big girl decisions to be in this industry and I take the costs with big girl panties on.
If you want to do something good, I encourage it, it's awesome and good karma…however why only think of the homeless on your way to see a provider? Tad insulting..
Besides, though I can't speak for the other lovely ladies I feel blessed to have not just a job but this exciting, erotic, sometimes nutty whirlwind of a job and in accordance with my karma beliefs donate money and time very very often.

missed you this time, but will hopefully catch you next time you are around DC...
(hint: I said you reminded me of Thandie Newton in some way).
Well this post reminds me of one of the reasons I like you so much - you just lay it out there, are very honest and real!

I don't think the original poster meant this as an insult to providers.
Look at it this way, you are a luxury item my friend!  A rare treat.  Like a $300 bottle of wine (now there is something I'd feel guilty about spending money on!).  Okay, comparing providers to material luxury items might not be the right approach either, but hopefully you get my point anyway... but hey, we all need to occassionally spoil ourselves, right?  :o)

Stay warm!

Well its more about paying for a provider (strippers included) not being that important in life when sex can be gotten for free even though there are indirect cost so to speak. I'm just saying I dont have to pay for a providers service...not saying you all don't deserve the money for services provided.

Providers are on demand service from women I find attractive and a lack of drama. However, it's simply a luxury at any cost.
Yeah, I can downgrade a car or cut out fastfood, but I still need those things at a basic level and have to spend a good some of money.

I don't need a provider on a basic level so it's like I may as well dump the 100s in the cup of a homeless person that is down and out I see in Langley Park, MD or Rockville, MD depending on where I am at when I get the urge...seen some of the same ones for years and gave a dollar here and there...but I feel they could get more use out of my dollars instead of me busting a luxury/expensive nut. Shit, if I was homeless id still buy alcohol as well as food cause you dealing with a bad situation so I understand

I already have more toys than I know what to do with...

If anything, I'm like if I got rid of that stuff over there that I haven't used in years, I could get three visits.  LOL  :)

Knowing when to hold them and fold them is something I'm learning, but… I appreciate you guys and thank you for reminding me how awesome this naughty hobby is. MUAH!!!

I understand and hope I wasn't too harsh…remember though.. most of us can't go to grocery without being accosted either. (Grocery, street, hotels, classes, bars…)

Free sex is easy-er... Consensual planned yummy time free of charm and/or dating is indeed a luxury (I see you babe, Thandie Newton…great compliment;) Let's all play safe and remember to share the love… meaning money and time to those less fortunate. :D Good convo...

I blow 5 bucks for a cup of coffeee at Starbucks!!

Every time I look at something that costs around $300 it makes me think:  30 minutes of bliss (leaving out the greeting, the chit-chat, the shower, the post-coital pillow talk and the dressing), or..... a tune up for the BMW, dinner for two with a great bottle of wine at Bourbon Steak, a couple of really nice custom shirts, a great pair of boots from Frye, etc., etc.?

You get the picture.  It doesn't have to be alms for the poor to make you think of trade-offs.

Hands

It could be anything--including the $5 cup of Starbucks coffee.

If you spend money on cable television, on quality hiking boots, on new tile for your kitchen, a vacation, better contacts than you had last year, better quality lawn mower, bigger electric mixer for your kitchen, smart phone, one of the fancy new coffee makers … the list is endless. We in this culture often have so many thing that are NOT necessities.

But should you feel guilty? If you are not harming anyone, I'd say  no, but that's a question only you can answer. If you have feelings of guilt, then maybe you need to take a break. The emotion of guilt exists for a reason. Listen to it.

I also whole heartedly agree with whoever it was who noted that anyone who is short changing their family by doing this is doing wrong. I agree 100% and would never want to be a part of that.

You can add me to the list of those paying off student loans that just will not go away.
