Here after 12 years it’s now looking like the end of the world, yet for now it appears to be simply a transition. For all the ladies posting now having no ad boards, kudos to u. Everyone is running around thinking there is hair on fire, it’s not, not yet at least. But it’s been incredible to see this board have activity. Since being here almost from the beginning where it was fun, entertaining and informative until no one was moderating hateful useless troll post then no one wanted to post, Ive been waiting for the change. I believe all hateful non contributing post should be remove as it’s ter policy, so report them. I wish all the best and believe open discussion should not be censored.

If you are actively reporting and removing posts, then you are censoring open discussion. It is a closed, limited discussion, circumscribed and proscribed, by definition.
It’s easy to parse those two sentences and agree that they are diametrically opposed. Perhaps not the best use of wording and grammar, but it’s safe to say that if you look at the context of the entire post, her intent was clear.
Certainly, a forum with vibrant, relevant discussion is helpful, especially in these times. At the same time, the input from trolls and folks intentionally disrupting the community only serves to lessen the value and usefulness of the board, and as a community, it’s in our best interests that type of negative content be kept off the board.
When we put people in positions of power who have no respect for those different from them (not egocentric haters of women, minorities and those struggling to make a living) I guess we shouldn’t be surprised they enact such a hateful law. My heart is with all of you. One day sanity will return.
