While getting up early isnt really my favorite thing, getting up for the right reason is worth it.  

I have enjoyed a number of morning visits with several ladies...

But I like being visited over visiting, although I've done both in the past. I am a huge morning person. Once a week, I've to work starting at 4:00 A.M.  Nothing more beautiful than watching the morning sun come up the horizon.  

..and since many gentlemen come into the district early, to avoid traffic, morning dates work well for me.  

I love to be the first person in the day to see a lady. She is nice and fresh, mentally and physically, and usually well-rested and in a good mood. I am usually relaxed and fresh too. I can take a shower just before coming and clean up a bit more thoroughly than a quick shower at her incall location. Also, it only works for me only if I am on leave or it is a weekend, so that I don't need worry about getting back to work after a mid-day appointment or feel that I have to decompress if it has been a long day at the office.

Ideally, the answer is "both."  When I had a SO, I preferred evenings to mornings, but both are good.  Generally speaking, I think men find sex relaxing and women find it invigorating.  That suggests that men would prefer evenings and women would prefer mornings.  Everything else equal, being rested before sex is good, whatever time of day that is.  There is something to be said for taking advantage of morning wood.

Are not my favorite *at all* but I will to spend time with the right person.

For example, I see my regular whenever she visits every 2-4 weeks. Although I feel not so rushed in the evenings, I notice that after a long day her performance tend to suffer. Besides, she prefers morning sex.

Is not to be wasted. When I do overnights a wake-up blow job (if the girl remembers) while I am having a morning woodie, is a surefire way of getting a fat tip as well as another overnight. For whatever reason I spend the rest of the day with a huge smile and a brain saturated with endorphins.

I think I am my friskiest in the mornings; I have the most inappropriate fantasies while commuting on the Metro- I am the gal wiggling in her seat making luv faces to all the guys !!! But afternoons are the greatest escape, usually the time right after work and just before dinner. I like to have my man totally relaxed to where he release all his work stress on me, work up a hearty appetite and then enjoy a good dinner. The best!!!

The feedback on this post is making me reconsider hours. I am not much of a morning person, but I might need to wake up early and eat my Wheaties.

Hi Kelly, thanks for your input. If you are in DC, that is a great way to start the day. I have issues with mornings because come out from the West Coast. I can't see straight at 6am, lol.

On a average, my first appoiment of the day is not earlier then 12pm. I am on PST, so it is very difficult to accommodate a 9am when my brain is still in REM mode.

testosterone is highest for a man in the morning, and declines during the day. Hence the term morning wood and not noon wood, or evening wood. Thus for a guy, he's at his peak in the morning. At least wood-wise.

As a general preference...waking up at 3-4am, having mind blowing sex and then falling back to sleep wrapped up in each other is the best.

This is more based on not wanting to be out in rush hour traffic and getting back at a reasonable time.

My SO and I have a standing date for 7:30am, when each of us are rested, fresh, and not thinking about work or other cares.  I also like the proximity to previous night's erotic dreams.  We've tried every other time of day, but nothing can match the first thing in the morning session for us.

For me it's a fine line.  I too, as others have noted, get started early to avoid DC traffic.  So I've had sessions that started at 4:AM.  Afte the "morning exercise" I shower, dress and have a productive morning.
