Not depressing and not frightening. It is obvious from the post that the lady wasn't reviewed. If these people were stupid to 'negotiate' prices will a completely unknown woman, they deserve to get in trouble. Sorry if this sounds too rude, but there are plenty of well reviewed women in the DC area that they could have gone to.

Received this direct from the source and thought I should pass along - the value of TER is obvious.  Be careful in who you see and make sure they are listed in TER.  This may pop up again but I wanted to get the information out there rather than wait for the approval of my edits.

Subject: LCSO Led Reverse Prostitution Operation Leads to 6 Arrests at Sterling Hotel

Loudoun County, VA:  On February 17, 2010 the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Vice/Narcotics Unit conducted a proactive, aggressive reversal prostitution operation.  Several members from the agency’s Community Resource Unit assisted with the operation.

Numerous computer postings and personal ads were placed on popular websites known to advertise prostitution services. The operation was conducted at a hotel in the eastern part of the county.

The following subjects contacted the agency’s undercover officer, travelled to the hotel, and negotiated with money for a sexual act.

The following subjects were charged with Va. Code: 18.2-346, Solicitation of Prostitution, and released on a Virginia Uniform Summons after being processed at the scene.

[The press release had the name, address, and age of each person which I took out]

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Vice-Narcotics Unit has seen a marked increase in prostitution and vice-related crimes during the last two years. Overall statistics have more than doubled since 2008 (8 total reported). There were 19 total cases assigned during 2009. Also in 2009, 25 individuals allegedly involved in prostitution were trespassed by the Sheriff’s Office Community Resource Unit from local hotels.

The agency anticipates that vice-related crimes will continue to increase and will remain a threat to the health and safety of the citizens of Loudoun County.  The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is taking measures to reduce these types of crimes in the community through proactive operations and developing relationships with area hotels and businesses to combat these crimes.

Saw that too - was depressing and frightening.

Now we can add Loudoun to the list of places to avoid, along with Prince William. What an idiotic waste of money...

NEWPORT NEWS—City police say they arrested 10 people in a sting set up following complaints about prostitutes advertising their services on Craigslist.

Police said yesterday’s arrests occurred between 2 p.m. and midnight after women who advertised on the popular Web site were contacted and meetings were arranged.

The women, whose ages ranged from 18 to the 30s, all offered sex for money, police said.
