What is the rate of HIV/ AIDS among these high-end escorts?

In the US 1 out of 1000 people have AIDS or HIV and those people are predominantly homosexual men and drug users (many who turn to low-end prostitution).

It's just not that common for heterosexual men and women who don't use drugs. The scary thing is though that it just takes one mistake to kill you.

Do you guys know if these ladies get regularly screened? or if the agencies have any such screening requirements?

Think of it this way, any given group of people have higher risk in something or the other. HIV by default is not that common of a problem in most groups, while other STDs such as herpes are very common amongst most Americans therefore potentially also high within the provider and hobbiest community. It is simple probability and statistics formula.

Since you asked about rates.
Common quotes for high end escorts such as on this board, is about(1/1000) and higher. The quotes are similar or lower than the general population rate of (3/1000).
Escort infection rates in some international countries are much higher than the general public, so travel/ sex tour carefully.

Is that from an actual study? or just a guess because most ladies get screened regularly?

statistics can be pretty opaque.  what they mean exactly can often be difficult to pin down, and will always depend on a lot of different factors.

and i am not responding to be alarmist, or to suggest that any specific behavior is more or less dangerous.

All that said, you should realize that the general population rate of infection for hiv/aids in washington, d.c. is 3 percent.    Yes, 3.0 percent; i didnt leave out a decimal point.    And 3 percent is 3 persons out of every 100.

i aint got a clue as to what relation, if any, that has to rate of infection for high end escorts.  But, I just thought that, given your question, you ought to be aware of it.

It appears this is a priority concern of yours.  How about simply asking the "high end" escort "when is the last time you were tested and what were the results?"  You might get more useful information versus posting it on the board.  All we can offer are statistics that you yourself can find at numerous health related sites.

But I would agree that your probability of contracting something OTHER then HIV is higher and more common.  So your priority may be focused on the wrong thing.

Besides women who are in a monogomous relationship with their significant other.  We ALWAYSSSS (at least I do) use protection-CONDOMS.
In 15 years I've only had a condom break twice. Both times for the same reason. Oil got on the condom and caused it to compromise the prophylactic and it broke.  Ugh the stress of that until all tests came back negative again and again and again.

Do you mean High volume? when you say high end, or you mean like a VIP provider? I think the chances are greater with a high vloume BP provider.

Providers are probably the most educated out of all the women you'll ever meet.  They understand the risk that they go through every day and are always well prepared and practice good hygiene; that's why i'm confident when I contact a provider through TER.  Just think of it this way, as long as you use protection effectively, meaning using it every single time, you'll be fine.  No worries, if it bothers you that much, go get yourself checked out and relieve your anxiety.  I really don't want to get into the science...

The woman during intercourse has 10x greater chance to get this virus, if her partner is infected, than vice versa.

I had a scare when the condum came off with a highly reviewed girl from a very reputable Miami agency. We were so into the session that we did not notice until it was too late. It got pushed way up into her vagina. A great session with a 9/9 girl was ruined.

I just could not sleep for several days. I eventually went for a screening and was told that I needed to come back 2 weeks later because some STDs have a window period that wont show up immediately. I was a nervous wreck until both screenings came back negative.

That was the last time I do a session with the lights off. She in particular wanted the lights off and we screwed with just a couple candles on the dresser illuminating the room. Since then the lights stay on.

Here's a nice chart showing Washington DC's reported HIV cases (this doesn't include the suburbs or cases that haven't been reported yet).

I don't want to put the picture in the source, since I think she runs a small blog, but it's a good place to visit for quite a few modern sex issues.
