Been on a hiatus from the hobby due to inflation. I was shocked to see how long it was since my last review.   I am dabbling here and there, but nowhere nearly as often.  Anyway, just wanted to say, "hey!"  Hope all my fellow hobbyists are fighting the good fight and keeping hope alive.   I see the forum has become a less toxic place.    

I guess it wouldn't be fair for me to not ask anything.  I mean, you did take the time to read this.  So, what are your thoughts on a cbj-only provider who charges 500?  Personally,  I can't see plopping down that much unless bbbj is on the menu.

At the very least, a $500 ask should include BBBJ (I would even argue it should include CIM as well, but in my experience, that’s not guaranteed).  

I get it, times are tougher and providers need to raise their rates accordingly…but $500 ain’t the “new” $300 for an hour…

I've seen providers charge that and more for no kissing of any kind and a CBJ.  I just keep it moving, but always wonder who IS patronizing them.

The service level and attitudes seem to be reminiscent of the $200 an hour Backpage providers, who simply matched their rates (but not their service) to the higher quality providers on the more upscale listing sites.

It's a complete crapshoot unless there are reviews....and even when there are sometimes.

and don't get me started on the massive upswell of deposit seeking scammers...

I hear you, my friend.  Sadly, not only has 500 become the new 300, if you are able to find 300, you know you're not getting any GFE treatment, at all.  You'd be lucky to not get rushed out the door. LOL!!

Preach!!!  That's exactly why this hobby is nothing like it used to be.  "Mary" shouldn't be matching "Sally's" rate unless she is delivering her same level of service. Nobody pays Mustang GT prices for a Fiesta.
