it all depends, sometimes i get a few, sometimes none. I know i do it when the mood strikes and its too late to try to get an appt with those that are on my list of must sees ( that need more than a few hours of notice). Doing a "ISO" is helpful because if anyone is available in the immediate future they can PM me. Its a lot faster than calling up a bunch of differnt providers, seeing if they are in the area i need, and then waiting for a call back.. if you can get a call back within the hour.. sometimes they are our of town or busy for the day, and its not fun calling up 10-20 girls and just waiting to see if you can get a call back before the time you were hoping for. So long story short, if i wasnt planning on it for the day, but the mood strikes.. sometimes its easier. hope that helps
For those hobbyists who post ISO messages on TER looking for the availability of a provider, how often do you get a response? It would seem to me that you would have much better luck keeping a few local names of provides whom you could call and check availability. Just curious....

But the places I normally go to are getting to be a little out of reach. So I thought I'd test the waters to see if any providers were in my area but they just were'nt advertising.

I absolutely agree. However, I have had incredibly bad luck with doing that. For eight months now I have attempted to establish three regulars,geographically positioned to 'escape' to. The avail. aside, there are a lot of travelers (never intending to be) that just can't stay put. Could be I'm 'looking for love in all the wrong places'. Or maybe I'm just too damned picky. In my old age I want what I want. I do not post on the ISO, I simply peruse,and peruse and peruse until I go numb.
If I go to a store and find a shirt that I want to buy and the only one they have doesn't fit, I don't buy a different style just so I make a purchase.. I wouldn't want a lady to contact me and have to tell her thanks but she isn't what I was looking for.. I have never been a impulse shopper. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. I always carry my back up numbers just in case..
