Since even before I started moonlighting, I've known girls who carry on day jobs and choose to provide after hours for any number of personal reasons. Obviously, I also have friends who are full time.
To the guys: what are your thoughts on providers who have separate careers? Does it make them less sexy or more so? Or does it not matter one way or the other to you? Very curious if there's a general consensus or if it simply boils down to preferenceLadies who lead dual lives are very sexy. The intrigue of possibly meeting in the civie world vs the allure of the forbidden ventures. Mysteries have always been the attraction of the adventures and many of us men love the flip sides of the gentler sex. To master you twice, that would be nice.
Both of my ATFs have day jobs....having a legitimate vocation makes them more relatable imho

when they say they have a second career, I never know whether to believe it or not.

claimed to have another career. I often wondered how they kept their two personas separate and how they managed to keep their secret life from coming out. In most cases they managed both very well. I know for a fact that one highly educated lady is in this biz just for the thrill of getting paid to have sex. More power to her and to all the other ladies who maintain 2 lives. Just stay safe and be well.
I had several wonderful times with a lady who was selling real estate part time, and used that as her cover story for going out to meet dates. While I never saw her business cards, she certainly understood a lot about the real-estate business. She did her business up in Lancaster County, PA, so I never had a chance to encounter her in that capacity, but it was tempting to think about her "showing me a house", so to speak. She enjoyed her dates, and it wasn't strictly business for her, I don't believe.
I've also seen a lady who was tangentially involved in my own field, and it turned out that I knew some of her co-workers. She had trouble scheduling during the day... up until she got laid off, and then daytime appointments became easy as pie. She sometimes said she'd like to get back into a regular day job, but it was difficult to make herself go through all the hassles of a job search.
I do like the idea of a lady who is doing this for some reason other than "I have no other skills and must keep a roof over my head". It can make for some additional complications, although I know a nurse who works two 12-hour shifts every week, and could easily rock this business in her time off -- I'd take out another mortgage if need be to book with her.
Then again, I'd prefer it if she was well-rested for our encounter and not coming off a long shift with PITA co-workers and patients, so... It might be sexy, yes, but it also has the potential for causing issues with hobby activities. Sorry that's not more help!
Yes more sexy if she has a 9-to-5 life and is motivated in a "straight" career. As you say, a matter of personal preference, but it's an important "selection criteria" for me.
saw a top rated DC provider numerous times and our conversation included talking about her day job. What we did for kids showed me she was an overall awesome person that loved sex. I am sure the money from providing allowed her to fulfill her career goals which was a low paying job. Good for her and any provider that has a passion outside of the hotel room.
I love it when a woman has an outside career. One pitfall of that is I have fairly in depth knowledge in a surprisingly wide array of industries and I'm naturally pretty curious, so when I meet someone who works in an area I've researched it's an awesome bond and makes for a much easier first meeting, but if it's just a story it's a turn off and I rarely see them again.
So I'd say if you have one and can share it in a way that doesn't reveal too much personal information that is a positive, but don't make one up.
I think it's very sensual to know a provider has another side. In fact, for me it is somewhat preferred as it suggests balance and priorities. Because of her career, my ATF is available for limited hours but this keeps her low, low volume and that much more special for me when we plan long afternoon trysts. Great question, Sara!
...and I'm always super frustrated because I'm not able to commit as much time as I would like to being a provider. Only being available on the evenings and weekends sucks sometimes. I genuinely love this work. I love sitting at my desk during the day in anticipation of a date later on in the evening, wearing lingerie underneath my business casual attire
Right there with you Elle although I'm partial to a dress with nothing underneath at all!
Some of the sexiest providers that I've ever met in the business led double lives -- by day they worked everyday jobs like most hobbyists and by night they released their pent up inner desires through their secret "alter ego."
Their career fields ranged from engineering, real estate, health care, financial/investing, exotic car sales, and even politics. I found it exciting to think that these ladies worked around powerful men that could only imagine what these ladies looked like without their clothes on! Like these men, when I've encountered powerful, beautiful ladies in the workplace, I've often fantasized about getting them into bed. This brings me to the other aspect of this topic -- fantasy/role playing. Even with job titles that don't command power, who hasn't fantasized about a hot secretary, teacher, nurse, or even a bored, desperate housewife?
These ladies led me to believe they were moonlighting for two reasons: they truly enjoy the excitement, and of course the supplemental income was a nice bonus.
Naturally, it's not wise for people to know too much about your line of work that they can guess where you actually work. That can be quite awkward if a client walks in the front door
For me, it's very sexy, but it really is just personal preference. There is nothing undesirable about a companion who is fully devoted to her profession.
I am a pianist and a piano teacher. Guys seem to find this fascinating and always have a comment such as "I need private piano lessons from you!" or "if I had a teacher like you when I was young, I would have practiced piano more!" LOL
I have a Master's in Music History so it does open up some doors for interesting discussions and is an excellent ice breaker!
Smooch!

...it would be very sexy. Otherwise, I seldom inquire about a provider's life outside of the hobby, so I suppose it wouldn't matter
seen a provider who I later ran into in the real world and wow what fun -- we were both professional and no knew the wiser
Apparently sexy is the general consensus...For those who haven't assumed thus far: yes, I have another career
