I thought the while point of using TOR was that it anonymizes you on the web... including to the NSA??
US gov created TOR for people in third world countries to get access to blocked website & info. TOR reroutes traffic and once it's outside of the U.S. & your iP is no longer US it's fair game for NSA collection...and nsa monitors rerouting hubs. Yes,Technically you are anonymous until you send personal/identifiable info.
Lately i've been visiting a few different girls that use email as their primary mode of communication. Got me to thinking,
If you see a girl that is staying in a hotel, wouldn't the staff notice someone walking around with an ancient flip phone in their hand and automatically suspect what that guy is there for? I mean I would think that staff members have been trained on what to look for as far as hobbying is concerned.
Although, email has become ubiquitous, I for some reason always get the room # on my phone either as a text or a phone call. I like phone call better, because even though a text message or an email, is delivered 99% of the times almost instantly, nothing beats the assurance of the phone call to ensure that the receiver has received the room number.
As far as hotel staff, they notice everything. They are trained to do so. They are more likely going to notice a single female checking in by herself and a bunch of guys going to her room one after another (depending upon how busy her calendar looks) than someone carrying an antiquated phone in their hands.
Its always good to keep in mind that there are more eyes looking at you than you think there are...
A) Get a better hobby phone if you think yours is drawing unwanted attention (which it's probably not).
B) More importantly, you shouldn't be waiting around looking conspicuous in the hotel lobby. You should be waiting in your car or waiting outside to get the room number. At the very least, wait in the hotel bar and have a drink. Waiting in the lobby will undoubtedly garner notice and someone will more than likely ask you if you need help. You don't need or want that kind of attention. Your entry and exit should be as inconspicuous as possible.
I have a cheap ass $10 TF hobby phone and it's never been an issue cuz I wait in the car to get the room number and then it stays in my pocket as I enter the incall.

Just a thought.
Android L supports multiple users to keep you better organized on one phone if need be. And VOIP such as freedompop could benefit most as you can DL the app for your phone or use it on a separate phone.
I feel crowd & normality is best for keeping low key. I wouldn't even use Thor/onion browsers and certain encryptions services as it makes you a target for the government as thing routed overseas get auto scooped by NSA. And as long as you stay out of MD as much as possible as MD doesn't have a stature of limitation (I think the b-more strip club scene lobbies state gov to keep it that way as to keep their overpriced businesses going) you lower chances of being a registered sex offender
