PROSTITUTION ARREST LINTHICUM
On October 22, 2010, members of the Anne Arundel County Police Vice Unit executed a
search and seizure warrant on a motel room located in the motel/hotel district in Linthicum,
Maryland. The execution of the search warrant was the end result of numerous complaints of
prostitution taken place at the motel.
During the surveillance on the motel, detectives were able to stop a male subject as he left
the motel and conducted an investigative interview. During the course of the interview, it was determined that the subject responded to an ad located on www.baltimorebackpage.com. Through
the investigation, it was also learned that the male subject paid money for sexual favors. During
the execution of the search and seizure warrant, a large quantity of condoms was located
throughout the room along with approximately $1,200 in U.S currency. Numerous items were
seized from the room including a laptop, a ledger book, two tally sheets, one cell phone and the
U.S. currency. A female subject was located in the hotel room and subsequently arrested. At this
time, the investigation is ongoing.

This may be a dumb question but would the law set up a sting using the girl who got busted to catch
any new clients?

Generally speaking... most of the world is ignorant when it comes to legal matters and feel their situation is better served by providing as much info as possible to the police in the hopes that gets them off their back.
As we all know... it does not work that way. Aside from that... if you are a rookie... the police can be very intimidating and if you lack the confidence to stand your ground I'm sure it would be easy for someone to break under preasure.
I am willing to bet this is just some poor shmo who answered the ad on BP and has no knowledge of TER or of the higher ranks of the escorting world. I'd also be willing to bet this is one of the CL converts which makes this post less than surprising. Ladies get busted every single day in MD/DC and VA... the difference is where and why. If you're in motel 6 with men shooting in and out of the place all day... you are going to get in a pickle. If you have half a brain then this is easily avoidable.

lots of traffic is stupid too. Cops will observe location and see different men go into room and stay for an hour. Provider was from NJ. I'm pretty sure motel is one where you can observe rooms from parking lot.
It's really more about low hanging fruit. The desk clerks, security, etc. in the midrange to higher end hotels used by indies and agencies are not stupid. They notice the parade of different men coming in to the hotel (particularly late at night), taking the elevator to the same floor, and leaving after an hour. The cleaning people notice attractive gals who spend all day in their rooms, except when the rooms have to be cleaned, and go through inordinate amounts of towels. They all just choose not to say anything, at least in most instances. Some take advantage of it. A traveling gal once told me that despite the "do not disturb" sign on her door, a cleaning lady came into her room while she was in the shower and took all of the cash that was in one of her drawers. The cleaning lady assumed that the gal would realize that she couldn't make a complaint without getting herself busted, and she was right. The gall just chalked it up to a lesson learned.
When I leave, most of the time it's out another door other than the front lobby, at an exit where I park my car. Sometimes I take the stairs or a combination of the elevator and stairs just to burn a few extra calories (each way) and get a better feel of my surroundings. I love the bonus of the USA Today paper and sometimes that bowl of fruit as you walk in. It's a great snack after a good work out. Just remember...........you belong there, no need to act or pretend, just belong. No questions asked.
You don't have to talk to the police if you don't want to. You are either under arrest or free to go --there isn't any middle ground. This guy obviously freaked out by being confronted by police (I'm not sure I wouldn't be, too, but I hope I'd keep my composure better)
This guy was probably scared and spilled the beans. I mean earlier poster is right you are either busted or not. If they decide to fuck with you and take you in, your S.O., or Family, or friends might wonder what exactly were you doing @ a hotel and got arrested for questioning. Always have a good reason in mind for being where you are, a story where you can either place yourself directly at the hotel in question or next door at the sub shop that screwed up your order and you went to hotel to see if they had better food for something quick.. Oh and Don't go into red roof inn's.. they don't serve food there they serve low-end providers and travelers.
The police asking this guy to talk is unconstitutional.. they simply observed him coming out of the room and had no evidence until he produced it, after threats of arrest I'm sure.. You should stick with "arrest me and call my lawyer or I'll see you later" and stick to your story if they do bring you in... Protect the ladies, this is why nothing is discussed, and remember if they do "let you go" for details.. they will make you come to trial to testify, it is better for all if come prepared and stfu.
I'm having friends visiting next month and wanted to check out the hotel before I booked it for them. Kind of lame I know but it's better than having no story at all.
Actually, lying to the Police can be illegal depending on the circumstances. If an officer is investigating a crime and asks you a question in the course of his investigation, then you do have the right to state that you want to speak to a lawyer.
But if you outright lie in an attempt to hinder or prevent the investigation, you may be arrested for obstruction of justice.
Either way if you are stopped and you know that they know, you are fucked!
Since you are already breaking the law, I'd say a small white lie is your only option to save face (Really) it calls their bluff of "we have evidence" remember.. they can lie to you... so its only fair. If they have evidence and want to bust you for lying you are fucked anyway.
please please any info on what hoel it was ...just for info.any smart provider would know never use the red roof in or other low end hotels .and the ladiesalwas hide condoms and ur cash and erase all texts emails and other info that can give u away.so any idea with this hotel is would be fab .xoxo
If any of you seen that girl, then you should be worried because
1. they might have seen you go out of the room and probably took a good look at you and your license plate
2. The girl probably kept text, emails, phone records
It's pretty easy to say the guy was an idiot but until in the situation who knows how anyone is going to react.
Hell even the most experienced get sloppy, end up in a bind and fold like a cheap tent.
1- Unless they were tape video or audio (requires jude order in MD becuase both parties must agree otherwise) they don't know what went on: your word against her's- getting fine for seeing an un-lic message isn't the same and prost.
2- Most providers offer message, so if push comes to shove, "I only got a message"- its your word agaisnt her's
3- Most providers are not going to rat you out unless they don't plan to work again becuase they will sure to be rated out on all boards for being a tatle tale
4- Flush the condom down the tolet, didn't understand that at first but do now
5- Only hobby at place where they can't see you go in & out from the street
6- Remember, you have the right to remain silent and right to not incrimadte yourself
7- don't use your private or work phone- spend the $40 bucks for a throw-away and never keep phone call record on the phone. If the phone is found by SO- just say its a back becuase its 6 months old and only 911 works.
8- If asked, I was visting an old friend who I've known for years who has fallen on hard times.
9- If caught giving money, who here wouldn't give money to old hot girlfriend in need. It's not my fault she remember how great in bed I am how I was the best sex she ever had and jumped my bones, the gift had nothing to do with it.
10- ask back "don't you pay for your SO car, car insurence, and give her spending money, but I don't see you getting arrested when she screws you"
11- If arrested, you can always say you got screwed 3 to 5 times, once by the old girlfriend, once by the Government, once by the lawers, once by your employee who might be firing you, and once by your SO which you can always reply "well if you were screwing me right in the first place, I would of needed the first one"- sad part, only the first one was hopefully enjoyable
