I've actually had the same observation not just recently but for a while now.  It seems like the big 3 agencies are using the same freaking hotel (we all know which one) which begs the question of are they being run by the same individual.

Some other reasons I can think of is that the other hotels that they used to book them at started stirring things up a little.

Or, they just got lazy and stopped rotating them around.

There are sooo many hotels in the DC metro area. Having all 3 agencies just use this one hotel does make me nervous for all parties involved.

Is it just me or have others experienced heavy hobbying traffic when going to hotels for an appointment.  On my last two visits I've seen both hobbyists and providers in the hallways while on my way to my appointment. I've had to kind of wander around until they went into their rooms.  It makes me nervous that that amount of activity will attract LE.

It's not just the agencies. A couple of months ago as I was leaving after seeing my ATF indy I saw another well known indy getting on the elevator. And this is a hotel that said agencies use, though I'm not sure if we're talking about the same hotel.

I too have noticed this, and it was a little disturbing as I had to catch myself from saying hello a few weeks ago on my way up to see someone else..but didn't want to come off like a dick for not acknowledging her ya know but didn't want to single her out either, was just no fun.

I've also had it happen a couple times with younger agency girls their room being right off or right in front of the elevator lobby. Makes knocking on the door and waiting very awkward. Sometimes the hotel is just full and there is no getting around it, but when I see a "seasoned vet" you tend to walk the full length of the hallway to the end and I can't help but think that's just a case of being new to the game.

The usual hotels in Tyson's are going to get increasingly tough to get to as they crank up the heat on Phase 1 of the Metro construction in addition to another one of them going to keyed elevators (the entire chain will be) so will there be a shift to Arlington maybe for the NoVA burb traffic?

As far as indy's it always crushes my heart when I see them in DC staying in large chains when a room at the smaller boutique hotels around Dupont and Scott circles are the same price and more fun for all. I also realize those smaller hotels book up faster and at times are more pricey, but I also can't help but think some of them don't know they exist. Plus there is ample parking (garage and street) for either of these plus at least two that I can think of have so many eclectic folks staying at it the staff is used to high foot traffic, so the hobby traffic would blend in naturally.

I wish there was a way to search providers based on our local locations-Tysons, Dupont, BWI, etc.  I work downtown so getting to Tysons and back without it being a huge deal or having to take time off is difficult.  Whereas with Dupont I can have a nooner and be back  at work in a reasonable amount of time.  I'm in the West End -we have a Ritz Carlton, Fairmont, Hyatt, an Embassy Suites and more-and never see providers in the neighborhood; it's a real shame. It's accessible to both Foggy Bottom and Dupont Circle Metro stations; Georgetown is right across the bridge; it's a real shame.  If a provider wanted to keep a low profile, West Endwould be just the place for it.

It is beyond me as to why there is always so much traffic in Tyson's Corner? So much that would cause indies and hobbyists to bump into each other !?!?

There are some great hotels in Reston/Herndon/Dulles area as well, and any hobbyist who can travel to Tyson's can very easily come to Reston/Herndon/Dulles. Also given the proximity to IAD, it would be much better for the visiting ladies also.

Just my two cents...

I live in MD and have gone to Reston/Herndon area for business quite a bit.

Tyson's is centrally located, as many clients come from the North and West sides of the Beltway, and with easy parking. What is on the other end of the Dulles toll road? Nothing.

It is interesting to see how this business gets evolved into several popular location -- Dupont, Tyson's, BWI. Someone should do a research project on self-orgnization of service providers' locations.

I know that the traffic in Tyson's is heavy, but there are plenty of hotels. Providers and agencies like to go to the same ones, and I end up going to the same ones. I don't know. Perhaps there are economic or security reasons. Someone please enlighten me.

Herd mentality. When one or two agencies put ladies up there, others follow the suit. Granted that there are some nice hotels, easy parking, good restaurants. Metro will soon be there - hopefully... But I think the 'traffic' concerns are too big to ignore.

Can you imagine the $ the hotel business makes from escorts?
Lol Include that in the research project

Umm -- even if prostitution were legal, providers would still need to book hotel rooms to see clients ....

Why would agencies do that? There are plenty of Hotels in the area so, why?

I believe it's the cheapest 4-star hotel on hotwire (I think it's the only 4-star hotel in Tyson's on hotwire). I use hotwire and priceline very often so I pretty much know which hotel is which even though they don't name the hotel on hotwire and priceline.

Great real estate investment idea: buy foreclosed properties and run them as date houses. Don't know much about D.C. or NOVA but I've read that there've been alot of foreclosures  in PG County. Just tell the neighbors that you're running extended stay suites.

I think it is more of any area problem than a hotel issue.  Tysons seems to be the place where everyone goes, local agency and visitors.  There are only so many "Nice" hotels where hobbiests feel comfortable going.  Perhaps if ladies were spread out a little or in different areas it would not be as bad.
Plus the agencies know that staying at the same hotels gives them points and free nights, reducing overhead.

Not sure of the cause and effect but my AFT lived in a small condo building where 4 other escorts lived.  None worked out of their condos that she knew of and it wasn't that they were friends and played follow the leader after the first one moved in.

I mostly do outcalls to my hotel room and have not noticed a lot of what I suspected were other P4P couples or singles.
