That second review has the hallmarks, but also reads like almost a detective fiction encounter, until you realize all the details were expanded upon by the AI program.

I get it if you’re grammar sucks but lifting a review from a month before is heinous.

They deleted it. Sure hope people start outing these fake reviews.

As much as people want to complain about AI wouldn't identifying such fake reviews be exactly the type of thing these AIs would excel at?

 
I'm surprised TER is not (but perhaps they are) exploring the use of some AI model for rating reviews prior to any approval or review by an admin.

You don't even need AI to detect plаgiarism. Even before c0vid another sitе with reviews had a simple plagiarism check that ensured reviews couldn't be lifted/copied verbatim with few words substituted here and there. You literally wouldn't be able to submit such reviews with a red wаrning text saying that it looks too similar to an existing review.
