I wanted to share an experience I recently had in Tysons in order to warn others.  It involves a k-girl agency in Tysons and the parking situation at one of the gated complexes they use.  Sometimes they get you through the gate and you park in a space assigned to the unit that they use.  Recently, however, I was told to park outside the gate in front of the Club House/Management Offices, even though those parking space are clearly marked as reserved during the day for office use.  I expressed reluctance about parking there and was told over the phone that it would not be a problem.

When I returned to my car, there was a complex employee standing near my car who yelled at me that a tow truck had already been called to remove my car.  I politely waved, jumped in my car, and left without saying anything.  The complex employee didn't try to stop me.

I recall sometime last year, another hobbyist on this site described a similar situation in which his car was actually towed away.  I don't know if this was the same complex, but I suspect it was.

The lesson to this story is obviously.  Regardless of what the provider tells you on the telephone, do not agree to park your car in an unauthorized location!  Fortunately, the complex employee seemed focused entirely on the illegal parking situation and not on the question of why I was there in the first place.  It may be for this reason that the Agency has yet to realize that the complex management is unhappy with the parking instructions that they have been providing.  Perhaps the complex management has not yet traced it back to them.  In the meantime, we hobbyists need to take our own precautions, such as agreeing to park only in legal parking spaces

There are at least 3 agencies, 1 PV & 2 K-agencies, in the same complex as I know, over these years I've learned the code to get in the gate then park at safe n unmarked space. I guess once you become regular, they will give you a bit more convenience!
Before that, be patient and arrive a few min earlier to get inside the gate!

In a capitalist system a business has the right to determine their own business model. If it's a poor model on the battlefield of competition it dies. They do what they do, we do what we do. That being said, I still stand behind my opinion of a fixed location housing /apt complex incall is a surveillance nightmare waiting to happen. Too many eyes to over time notice too many things.

However, that's just my opinion.

Next issue, what the heck is a K-girl agency?

From what you describe their NOT an Agency, they are a brothel,  a bawdyhouse, a bordello, a cathouse,
major difference actually. yes, I'm being a traditionalist  [laugh ]

I used to be a regular of that agency. Years ago they had one designated parking spot. They would say that if it's unoccupied I could use it. After they moved to another unit they informed me they no longer have a parking spot, so I had to find one with great difficulty. Sometimes I had to park outside the complex. Then I decided to visit them during the day hoping to easily find a spot. I haven't visited them for almost 2 years now. Parking is not the main reason but it did affect my decisions when I was still their regular.

Are u kidding me.  Sure do it if you want to draw attention to yourself.  Long time ago I had a lady tell me where to park once inside the gates and all the visitor parking was taken.  So she had me park outside the gates.  Later she mentioned that she has canceled dates because of parking because  she does not want to draw attention to "you" especially "her".  After some thought, she was right and I have made a mental note of when in that situation never park in assigned parking.

BernieEvans is right so not to draw attention, we need to park in legal parking spots. Especially in apt complexes.

What is the difference between an agency and cathouse?  I think of brothel as in Nevada where management is housed in the same location as the girls.  Agency is you go to an assigned hotel/condo.  The k-girls (asian) places I consider agencies...even though they may be in a long term fixed location.

I know of the place OP is talking about, the gate was open when I went there and I parked in an open spot.  The gate was open because they were doing repairs, I wasn't about to park in a limited time, official apartment/condo business parking spot, either.  Makes for a bad session, if you're worried about your car getting towed.  Haven't been back to that particular place.  Another place was fine, as they gave you a code and buzzed you in to open parking for guests.  That place is now gone because of a stupid poster on a different message board posted the location and code publicly...idiot.

When I went to one of these places, they had me park in the mall and walk across the street, which seems a lot better.

Three agencies in the same spot?? OMG. I remember when I worked for one of the PV agencies there was another PV place above us in the complex. I would walk out to my car and see random guys sitting in their cars waiting. It was too obvious.. maybe one of them should relocate?

I had a client come in that had friends in the nearby building to the Incall and he told me he was over there for dinner one evening and the wife of his friend mentioned this odd thing about all these men waiting in parking spots and coming and going. Without trying to notice things like that , people notice. All agencies should be VERY careful.

Yes, XRay84, it as your previous experience that I recalled, unfortunately I recalled it after the fact.  I wish I had thought about your story at the time of my visit.  Fortunately, I got away without being towed.

I hate appointments near that metro station in DC.. It's almost impossible to find a parking and nearest parking garage is too far away. I must've gotten 3-4 tickets! I've managed to take care of the tickets in private manner, but I can't imagine getting towed!

It's funny how these agencies choose locations. I've been frequenting one of the AMPs and the PV lately and have not had any parking issues. They both will tell you to park in a designated spot to avoid being towed.

I don't know how many spots each agency has however.
