I assume most ads on eros are fake. Especially the "too good to be true" ones.

Agreed.  I don't see the purpose of a fake ad, when they ghost you.  Don't they pay eros to advertise?

Maybe it's all about phishing for phone numbers? But that seems like a really hard way to get much compared to plenty of other phishing or con approaches.

With that type of ad, a monger at best would get a bait-and-switch coldhearted Non-GFE. Worse, he might get robbed.
