Thanks for sharing! Back in the 90s, before TER and other methods to check providers, I had this scam pulled on me when I answered an ad in the City Paper. Reminder to be careful with girls advertising on Eros if they have no reviews or even any other web presence.

Total scam. You could say 'technically' she's following the law. And technically, my services are for time and companionship only and what else happens is between two consenting adults.

For a visit to my home, I'll never schedule an outcall unless I've had multiple incall visits with the provider to establish a decent level of comfort and trust. For an outcall-only provider, or if I'm traveling and in a hotel, I'll only schedule if I can find good reviews and/or reliable intel in local forums. The main reason for this is because an outcall has the potential to put the client at a disadvantage if anything goes wrong. If you're visiting an incall and things go sideways, you can usually just excuse yourself and leave. And, depending on tbe circumstances, maybe a cancellation fee could be warranted. But, with an outcall, you're stuck at that location and an unscrupulous scammer can cause a scene or otherwise make you feel uncomfortable or pressured into handing over some $. So, if I'm thinking about spending $400 to see someone I've never seen before, I want to keep my options open and the odds not stacked against me.

Yep I did too..I remember it was this place in Arlington..Would walk in and the girl would be hot. After she took the $ she would walk back and hide it somewhere and come back..Once you tried to make a sexual move she would stop you and say "What are you doing? Sex for money is illegal." She would say something dumb like "We can go out for eat but that's it."

Here are the facts of the situation.....
According to TER rules, the lowest score one can give to a provider is "1 = A Total Ripoff".  That is the scoring system.  It was designed for scammers.  Jillian earned her "1" score by presenting herself like something she is not, then taking the money and then quickly running away.  She is, by the definitions of this board, a "Total Ripoff".  Food for thought.

Which, for anyone genuinely seeking to provide strictly legal escort services, would seem to be an unlikely choice, don't you think? Since Eros has been around for years there's often a (mistaken) perception that scams can't happen there. That perception is reinforced by the "Eros Verified" label which, if you read the site's small print, only means that the pics in the ad match verification pics sent to Eros via email. Eros makes no other claims (nor could they legally or prudently do so) and the "verified" advertiser can do pretty much whatever they want after the ad is posted. Of course, most are reputable providers but there are no protections against bait-and-switch or scams such as the OP reported. And, if any unhappy client thinks they'll be successful getting Eros to take their side in a dispute, I've got a nice bridge to sell you.

I dont see anyone off there unless I have previous experience with them. It just became a way to see who was touring my area...

Shes just off to a new area, with a new alias to pound the next sucker to bite. So glad TER is back....at least theres a sense of protection from these BP castouts.

After BP went dark, Eros was one of the only ad sites left standing. No matter how much extra it cost to advertise the only alternative for many was to pay or risk having business dry up completely. Once on Eros it was absolutely predictable for them to adjust their prices accordingly, even if the level of service was still BP-esque. Here's an analogy that makes sense to me: If Filene's Basement closed and the only available shelf space was in Bergdorf Goodman's, retailers would make the switch, raise prices w/o changing the product, and maybe take a nicer set of photos to make buyers think that the higher prices were justified. Too many mongers think with the little head and fall for that crap. Agree that TER is exactly the kind of preventive medicine we need!

google the email address, phone number and nothing came up, no website, no social media, no additional ads.  
It's very easy to spot is a fake.
