I am Repbulican. I did ask this question of my 3 favorites. All said they have a bit of everything but all said they think I with the correct party percentage wise. One said she would think 80% of her clients are Republicans ( she is Republician and a lot have come to her as referral, she flys way under the radar ) the other two say they are indies but I think they lean left. Both say some where north of 60% are Rebublicans. I think we have more money we are willing to spend. IMHO
I think that both parties represent special interests that don't contribute anything to the overall social good and they really only benefit a select few.
However, I think that the Republicans are probably worse than Democrats overall since I know several hard-core Republicans (including several people active in the party) and my own humble impression is that these folks realy just don't like humanity in general (and I mean there is a real underlying hatred towards others). While I can sympathize to some extent as there are indeed a lot of ignorant dumb people out there who probably should be taken out of the human gene pool, I also don't want to see people suffer and can't ignore it when I see it.
I love it how each one of you are distancing yourselves from your true political views. Everybody is an independent/libertarian/Green /other HAHAHA look guys this is a two party system. The Green, reform, libertarian, etc., parties all amount to a sideshow attraction. Or better yet sideshow distraction.
Is there a third party representative in the US senate? I did not think so.

Aside from being here to work for Hawaii's independence. We are US (against our will)citizens nontheless. So some of us do vote and I have done so since I was eligable.
